New School Tree & Landscaping

The first time we needed Paul was to remove a couple of large corner trees, one of which had a big broken branch. The trees were very close to power lines and to the neighbor's house. We had quotes from several people and Paul's quote was very reasonable. He was very reliable, punctual and friendly. Above that I had the feeling that he actually cares for the trees as living beings and does not just want to chop them off (we had him trim some of the other large trees in the yard also). Paul and his crew did a wonderful job, even cut the trunk of the trees in manageable pieces for us (we wanted to keep the wood) and cleaned everything up nicely. The neighbor used him too at the same time and was very pleased with his work. The second time we used him was on a Saturday, where he came out on an emergency basis. We had tried to cut a medium sized tree in a corner down ourselves (tree also a bit close to another neighbor's house), but then our chainsaw broke. We decided to not take any more risk and called him and he came right away and helped us out generously. Again he did a fine job, and brought the tree down safely, which we were very grateful for and relieved. We will definitely call him again, when there is a need. Thank you, Paul

Tree pieces were left in Reno Road blocking a fire hydrant on Friday November 30th. Police were called to investigate. Tree remains were removed shortly after police investigation , possibly under the Wilmington Police Departments direction.

Outstandingly! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Work was professionally performed, the wood chipped and the area very well cleaned.

Stay away, save yourself trouble, horrible service. We had a tree fallen in the back yard. I agreed to pay 1200 to remove the tree form the back yard. They came in intentionally shed all the leaves from the tree in the back yard. Would you believe it ? You pay what they ask for and hope the problem would be gone when you come back. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TROUBLE.

Job was accomplished in a 40 by 60 ft area.  Four 8 ft. raised garden bed frames were crushed, they could have been removed in less than ten minutes at the start of the work. 
Branches, roots, and tree parts were left everywhere.  Contractor's and sub's machinery crushed everything into the soil.  Chipping was done  everywhere including garden areas.  Huge mounds of chips were left to rot and poison the soil with fungus. 
One area (20 ft. X 40ft.) was cleaned with a Bobcat also removing six inches of thirty year old cultivated soil and 20 current bushes. 
Sub contractor and workers left food wrappers, cans, cigarette boxes and junk everywhere. 
New School was supposed to remove all pine products in the clean up.  There was much to be done when they left.  I stated that I would participate in the clean up.  I have raked up a pile of pine debris 25 feet long by 3 1/2 feet tall and covered it to keep it dry.
There are a number of piles of pine pieces, stumps, and branches left to rot. I notified him to arrange for removal, but he has not responded as of this filing.  The chips must be removed so that the soil can be planted again.

Paul was professional and on-time when he arrived for the quote.  When we
called back to schedule the work, he was promptly able to find our
initial work order and schedule to do the work 3 days later.  The crew
arrived on time, very respectful and pleasant.  They confirmed what I
was requesting and got right to work.  They were finished job on schedule
and did an excellent job cleaning up.  We wouldn't have even known
that they were here except for the beautiful job they did on both
trees.
All in all, we
were very satisified with not only the excellent tree trimming service,
but also their professional demeanor, promptness and attention to the
cleaning up detail.

He is good, and I've use him for 5 years.  He saved a couple of trees that others told me to cut down.  He's really good, and we keep using him.  Usually, if I put a call out to him, he is at my door the same day, or the next day.  He's very professional, cleans up after himself, and takes everything away.  He is excellent, excellent, excellent!  I would give him all A's and would definitely use him again, and recommend him.
