About us

Specialties Macintosh and iPad repairs. Specializing in liquid spills, physical damage and defective repair of iMacs, MacBooks, iPads, iBooks and other Mac products. When it comes to Apple Products, there is nothing we cannot fix. We offer independent genuine Apple parts and support, as well as National Mail-In and walk-in repair service. Our mission is to provide a quality source, independent of Apple, for systems, parts and exchange repairs of Apple technology products. Since Apple Products aren't cheap, we believe in the principal of "repair" vs. "replace". We have established a 13,000 square foot warehouse, service and repair facility located inside the Route 128 High Technology Region of Boston, Massachusetts, which is is dedicated to Apple products. With this new facility, we can serve you and your Apple needs best. We have used our new facility to build an inventory of systems and important service parts for both sale and exchange repair.

The laptop was a 2008 model. I had already opened it up and determined that the damage was beyond my repair capabilities. Researching online for parts was also discouraging, as costs seemed too high. But I called one source, who recommended MicroReplay. I phoned them to describe the situation and was given an estimate and encouraged to bring the machine to Billerica. John greeted me, made me comfortable and set up an account and service order in no time. While there I also learned about the company background (some employees have experience going back to a firm I had dealt with in the '90s). The repair was accomplished within the time and price stated, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I had an Apple Time Capsule (Wireless Router and 1TB HDD) fail. The message boards have lots of posts about the power supplies failing on this product after about 18 months of use. All of the posts online suggested do it your self repairs that were beyond my electronics expertise. MicroReplay had a popup advertisement that catered to this exact problem with a flat rate for repair. I was going to be near their location on vacation so I called them and spoke with Dave. He confirmed that they have done repairs of Time Capsules in the past and took my payment information (only charged after the repair was completed). I got to Massachusetts and dropped the unit off. It was repaired the following day and works perfectly. Saved all of my data. I checked and they didn't access any of the data on the HDD which was a mild concern, but not as much as losing the data completely. I would highly recommend this firm for computer and peripheral repairs. They are a small company and they exceeded my expectations. I gave them a B on price because the repair was about half of the replacement cost of the unit. No real complaints there, and I probably could have found somebody to do it for less if I had kept looking, but again the data on the unit was priceless and they were close to where I was going to be at a time when the repair was critical.
