Would never ever use again.

Awful. He’ll show up and then schedule other jobs in between. He will blame the customer for not pulling a permit. He will never show up if you have a problem with his work.

Everything was done basically over the phone and the guy he sent painted the ceiling for me. He was clean, no drips and was very nice. He was fabulous and it was extremely reasonable pricing .

The installation of the roof went well.  Three years have gone by and I continue to be very happy with the roof overall.  However, a small bit of flashing has come loose this winter, which resulted in some leaking inside the house.  I contacted Michael in December, when the leak became apparent, and he said he wouldn't be able to come by for a couple weeks, with the holiday approaching.  I understood this completely and said that was fine.  Then, in early January, he emailed and assured me he hadn't forgotten about this and would be there "ASAP".  I sent him a photo of exactly where the problem was, so he could get a sense of what he would need.  Weeks went by with no contact, and in February I contacted him again, left a message and got no response.  Now it's March and another phone message was left with him two weeks ago, again with no response.  I wish he had told me in December that he had no intention of helping with this; all I have done is lost a few months, when I could have tried to find another contractor.  So, the original installation of the roof went very well, but the follow-up has been poor.

I had actually contacted something else. When that person realized how large the work was, he commended his buddy to us. The material I chose was artificial slate. I spoke to Michael A Riley General Contracting and realized that he was dealing with that material. The price was high because of the material I used and not because they were expensive.
