I hired Merrimack Valley to insulate my garage. The walls were finished, so we needed the insulation blown in. Joe was quick to reply, worked with me to provide an attractive quote, and booked the job quickly. His crew arrived on time and finished the work as agreed with no mess. When I inspected the work, I noticed one section of wall didn't seem to be fully insulated. I contacted Joe and his crew, along with Cory, were back out ASAP to address the issue. They also tested some other locations to give me comfort the job was done well. They even performed a bit more work free of charge to make things right. Mistakes happen. It's how firms respond to those issues that really define them. Merrimack Valley really stepped up. The communication and final product were great, and they went above and beyond to address the little hiccup. I highly recommend Joe, Cory, and the entire Merrimack Valley team.

Dominic and his team showed up to our door on time and walked us through the process of what they would be doing. They filled in a lot of the gaps that MassSave seemed to not address and worked with us to make the process as painless for us as possible (long story short, instead of drilling all over the inside, they went underneath the vinyl where they could and did it from the outside). They were thorough and explained any changes made along the way from the original work order they received. The original appointment was scheduled for three days, but they brought enough staff to address in just one. I also appreciated how clean they were. Vacuuming up insulation is an exercise in futility but they got 95% of it and left us with very little behind. If anyone is using MassSave, I would request them when scheduling. If you are doing any sort of other insulation work, especially in an already finished space, I would again highly recommend.

Everything went extremely well. Super professional company. I selected them as my preferred Mass Save contractor. Great experience. Would strongly recommend this company to anyone.

Three guys. Small area to work in. Checked out the basement and heating system before starting. Put cloth on carpeted staircase to protect the area. Surprise visit from MassSave which was great because I could get clarification of the work order. The crew worked all day, non-stop. I was given periodic updates. When finished, they cleaned up the area, vacuumed the upstairs and basement. One small problem ... the heating duct that goes through the crawl space was pushed downward while crawling over it. I contacted the company and they sent someone out to fix the problem and put some support under the duct in case the need ever arose again to crawl over that area in the future. They were very apologetic and the team lead (Domenic) said he should have checked that before they left. I paid $2,713.44 ($900 to CLEAResult who runs the program on behalf of the utilities and $1,813.44 to Merrimack Valley. ) The Utility Incentive Share of the contract was $2,000 which I assume is paid to Merrimack Valley. The total cost was $4,713.44

From the time my husband and I made contact with this company, we had a really good feeling we made the right choice! We needed to locate an insulation company to re-insulate our attic and air seal our home as well as to perform insulation work we needed as a result of ice dam damage to our home. The owner was prompt and very responsive from the first time we contacted him as well as throughout the entire job. The individuals who came to our home to perform the work were prompt and responsive, and all work was completed satisfactorily. We are quite happy that we contracted Merrimack Valley Insulation Corp. to complete the work we needed to perform in our home. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to others and would absolutely use their services again!

I do not own the home, I live next door and our daughter RENTS the first floor of the home were work was done. When she came home from work her kitchen, counters, inside cabinets, floor and bathroom were covered with whatever material they were blowing into the home.
She called home owner, he sent text saying "sometimes a little DUST will come in through cracks.
He was out of state at the time. We cleaned the rooms.
The next day I approached two workers on the job asking if they knew that someone lived on the first floor. Worker responded with "we do now". He said we saw a note. I asked don't you go inside of the home during service to make sure there are no leaks? He said no we do not go inside unless there is a problem. I said well that's stupid. He said are you calling me stupid. I said sure, Yes I am calling you stupid. He called for the other worker and said take care of this guy, he is calling me stupid.
I explained to other worker what was going on. And he said yes we do go into the homes. I explain that the other worker said you dont unless there is a problem. He said oh, he would not know because he was working outside yesterday. The he asked me if I did this type of work for a living. I said no i do not. He said oh well then you would not know how it works then.
I said I had this work done on my home not to long ago and the workers were constan ally in the home, closets, checking for leaks.
He was being disrespectful, not caring about what had happened so i asked for a business card since the truck had no markings on it. He gave me a business card for MASS SAVE. I said no i am looking for your business card. He had known so he gave me his bosses phone number. Joe answered, he was very defensive, shared with me how he has 6 jobs going on today. Towards the end he said he would send his best guy out there to address my issue and asked if his guys knew how to reach me. I said here is my number, and also told him my address.
I also told him this would end here since he was sending someone to address our issue. All we wanted is a walk through at the end of thier work day to make sure apartment was clean.
Since that never happened, we decided to write this review.

Response from Merrimack Valley Insulation
"Unruly neighbor. Very abusive to our workers. We weren't allowed access to inside the house during installation. Should have been handled better in both sides. Installers were let go after this job"
