I unfortunately did not get to actually use them other than investigatory work. They were timely in response, despite it being a small job. They ended up popping a number of shingles and drilling a bunch of holes, but there was old insulation behind it. They did not want to pump blow more insulation in because they said it would just create air pockets. They did not charge us for the investigation.

They were on time. The guys explained what and how they would do the job. They respected our property and they were very good about cleaning up after the job was done.

I selected Merrimack Valley Insulation to do the work resulting from my Mass Save Home Energy Audit. The managers and installation team were easy to work with, responsive, and accurate. They accommodated my schedule, worked quickly and carefully, and cleaned up when they were done. The workmanship was excellent, the onsite team was courteous and friendly, and they took care of the paperwork. I highly recommend them!

I hijghly recommend them for the professionalism and efficiency . But most important because they are straight forward , honesty and easy to deal with . In the future , I won t even waste my time calling other companies. And the price that they charge was unbeatable .

On time, returned calls, very polite, Tim and Ricky explained what they would be doing and cleaned up afterwards. I talked with Corey initially and explained the problems we had. He said he would look into it and get back to me which he did. We set up a time to have the work done and they where 15 minutes early which was wonderful. Tim found we had an old wire in there and they couldn't put the insulation in until it was found dead and an electrician to sign off on it, fortunately for us my son is an electrician and he came and did that and they waited and then did the job. Tim found a problem with a fan and asked if we wanted him to fix it or did we want him to do it. I chose him. they were great. Would recommend them 100%.

Guys were great, very reasonably priced, I wasn't there when they left, The next day I convinced my girlfriend to go to the house with me because I was sure that we were going to have to clean I was very impressed when I open the door and found the house spotless, not one piece of insulation on the floor

When my husband and I bought an old Victorian, we weren't sure if we were letting ourselves in for a wild ride. One of the first things we did was to have a MassSave audit, and through them we found Merrimack Valley Insulation. We had them do air sealing, install insulation in our attic floor and mushroom vents in our roof (per Mass Save's recommendations). We couldn't be happier with how Merrimack's teams performed. They not only did the work well, they showed up on time, left the house as clean as they found it, and when we found something that hadn't been quite finished, they came back and fixed it within 48 hours. This speaks volumes about the kind of company Merrimack is and it's impressive to see contractors stand behind their work. Everyone, including their support staff, were clueful and friendly and a pleasure to work with. We plan to have more insulation work done in the next year and we will call Merrimack Valley without hesitation; we feel as if we couldn't have found a better contracting company.

The work was good, and done in a timely manner. The young man installing the insulation managed to insulate over some tools I left lying against the wall (tools I forgot to move). Overall, I would hire them again.
