It was wonderful. They are very polite they came and pick up the furniture they deliverd it when it's done. I am happy with the result and I am happy with the service.

I don’t think it could have gone better. We discussed what I wanted including the preservation of a family quirk inside the piece. I had some concerns that this work would actually be detrimental to the desk. Michael reassured me that it would not. He suggested going with a custom lacquer instead of the paint color I had picked out. He was right on the mark. The finished desk was just delivered. They had to completely strip and sand 80 years of family use off of it. Still it was right on time and price. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I would heartily recommend Furniture Refinishing.

Mike was wonderful to work with. He returned calls and completed the work in a timely manner. Helped us pick the right stain for our hope chest and the right level of distressing on the dresser. Would definitely recommend him.

We had an excellent experience with Mike and Furniture Refinishing.  We had inherited an old gate leg table with a very worn top and finish and had no idea if it could be restored.  We couldn't believe our eyes when he delivered it back to us this week.  It's now truly beautiful!  Mike had arranged for us to pick out a stain to match our decor and it looks perfect in our dining room.  He clearly took great care in handling and working with our table.  And, the leaves he had made are just right.  We would highly recommend this company!

They did a good job and the rocker was finished by the promised date.

They were available immediately to pick up the table, refinish and return the table when we returned from vacation.  The turn around time would have been much quicker, but we were on vacation.
Furniture Refinishing had done several other pieces for us over the last 20 years, and we always found their work excellent in all respects.

       The job went very well.  Mike came when he said he would and finished the work more quickly than I would have thought 
        possible.  Everything was done perfectly!
       

Mike returned my initial call promptly and came out to view the items the next day. We agreed on what needed to be done and a price. The file cabinets were seriously beat up. They were different woods, different stains and both had major gashes and dents. The clothes rack had decorative hardware that could not be removed from the wood. The shelf was very old, had been repaired many times, was structurally unsound, and had been stained, glued and painted. Nails were sticking out, glue was failing, etc. When returned, the furniture was vastly different. They did an extraordinary job. The gashes and dents had disappeared or had been minimized. The wood grains looked different, but matched perfectly. The final products amazed me--they were so professionally done they looked like perfect antiques, far better than what I had originally had.
