Excellent. Caulking is smooth as glass. Company had previously replaced the tile, and copin as well as new caulking seven years ago. Owner of the company told me what I was doing wrong that caused water to get under the coping, and freeze which lifted the coping, and knocked tiles off. since following his instructions, have had no problem. He did say evry 6-7 years, caulking should be replaced, which we just did. Highly recommend.

Work started later than expected and continued in pieces well past the original schedule. Contractor appeared very busy with other projects (larger commercial). Several times work was scheduled and no one showed. Overall quality was good, but some small items were frustratingly left incomplete.

Very well- Charlie negotiated the best price we found. He seemed to present an honest set of alternatives (based on what we were willing to spend), and we never felt pushed on the decisions.
The work went generally on schedule. When he discovered the old deck was 50% thicker than normal he absorbed the extra cost of removal. When the work was done there was a slow leak caused by a cracked pipe. His plumber returned several times until it was repaired.
In a business (pool rebuilding) which has no regulations or oversight there is plenty of opportunity to spend sizable amounts on an inferior job. Happily, artistic pools is an honest, competent team that can be trusted.

Artistic Pools did a really good job. I talked to a number of different people about how to do it. This guy came in as one of the higher prices, but he convinced me that doing it this way it would actually last. Winters, water and freezing, are really hard on pool decks, but doing it with a cantilevered deck is the only way for it to be survivable for the long term. He showed me several. I actually went and looked at other pools he had done and went and watched him install a deck similar to mine. He was very interactive with showing how it was done, explaining to me in detail why it was the right way to do it, and we actually spent a lot of time talking about this. In the end I was convinced his was the right way to go and it looks great. I just wanted to make sure. Fairly recently, about 7 years ago, I had the same work done and it fell apart. This time I was more cautious on how it was done.

Charlie from Artistic Pools is an old school professional, meaning he takes very good care of his customers. He consistently stayed in touch, provided reasonable and accurate estimates, described each step (we had deck repair, tile repair, new coping/deck gasket and a new safety cover installed over the course of two weeks), and he or his workmen were always there when they said they would be.
He has a lifetime of experience in local pool construction, and knows the strong and weak points of the various pool installers over the last 30-40 years. He knew the name and specs of our 35 year old pool. He has many talented and reliable subcontractors at his disposal, and ran the whole show while keeping us well-informed. Wish more contractors were like this!

The job went really well. We had one little issue but they were quick to respond to it. They do really good work you just need to make sure that your clear of the terms and conditions.

From start to finish the service experience provided was excellent. The owner came to the house with one of his crewmembers to survey the site. He offered ideas and valuable feedback. Since the walkway was so long, he offered cost-cutting suggestions. We decided to go with all his suggestions and go with the pavers. It took them only a few days to complete. They were there early to very late each day - rain or shine. The finished walkway has made a huge difference in our curb appeal and home value. It is a very professional job and the artisanship excellent. They were easy to do business with and answered all our questions completely. We would highly recommend them and are planning to hire them again for an outside patio.

As mentioned before, this was an excellent experience.

excellent. large, very experinced crew. put in full day's work, no slacking. took five day's. owner said he would be on site the last day, for the entire day. he was, as well as his wife. we wanted a company to fill the pool. he even set that up. explained in writing what we must do during the winter to eliminate tile, and coping destruction, which is probably the reason why the tile and coping failed on our sixteen year old gunite pool.

Wonderful job. The work was done promptly and in a professional manner. And our pool looks great.
