Each piece arrived in perfect condition. The move took 3 hours. After contacting The Trouts, they told us they would refund us money because the move took only 3 hours not the original estimate of 6 hours. Shortly after the move a refund check for the 3 hours arrived. We highly recommend anyone to move with Trout. Reliable, professional , and honest is what Trout Movers are all about.

The movers were well supervised and handled everything very carefully.

I had very heavy, bulky pieces of furniture that had to be carried up narrow stairs,

and it went very well.  The movers were careful and yet efficient, and I would

hire them again for a big move.  Also, they were very nice people and fun to work with.

Initially a guy came and saw my apartment and furniture and gave me a quote. On the day of the move they came very late, I had to call them. Then they sent 3 guys instead of the 2 I had requested so the third guy really didn't have much to do. Then, they would pile up and take a bunch of stuff to the truck where they would hang out and smoke cigarettes and chat on their cell phones for 20 minutes each time they went down. they did the same thing unloading. So in the end the price came in at $400 over the quote! so I complained and the mover said "I'm old I have to pace myself I cant just run up and down". We called the owner and he got heated with us even though we were calm, but finally he gave a discount but I was still very unhappy overall.

Three men arrived with a truck. They looked at the things that needed to be moved and started right in on carrying things out to the van. They were very respectful and considerate. I am not aware of anything that was damaged, but I packed everything myself, and I have moved numerous times, so I know how to pack to protect my belongings as well as make it easy for the movers.

I have used Trowt movers in the past and have always had excellent service at a competitive price. The five man crew showed up on time, disassembled beds, furniture, etc., loaded two trucks and delivered everything to new house and reassembled everything and put everything in place. Nothing broken or damaged. The final price was within $50 of original estimate.

They did a very nice job. Nothing was missing or broken. It was excellent.

While unpacking the truck, I discovered a broken/cracked screen on the TV, a busted backing of a tall shelf unit and a grease stain from a moving truck tire on a wool Persian rug. I made several phone calls to the owner who promised to repair and clean the damage. However, they never did anything.
