 + -1 moreWe were very pleased with the design options that he presented, it'll look great. We wanted to keep our existing floor and he somehow managed to open the space up without any work on the floor or the plumbing. The contractors were very impressed. His plans allowed us to shop around for cabinets and save a lot of money. We had budgeted $40,000 for the kitchen remodel and we're at $32,000. with firm orders/bids in hand. Keith will push hard for good design aesthetics but he also is very cost conscious so for us it was a perfect balance.
Description of Work: Keith, the sole proprietor of Equilibrium Design, helped us figure out a plan for our first floor kitchen, family room and den. We had a budget of $50,000 and wanted someone to help us prioritize things and stick within the budget. Keith did 3 phases for us - idea gathering; measurement and detailed plans. He presented us with a budget for each phase. His designs were so good that we quickly moved to the construction phase; as part of this, he prepared a set of architectural drawings and engineered plans (he works with a structural engineer as needed) in less than 2 weeks to meet our deadline. The kitchen remodel begins in a few weeks.
