Cicoria Tree Service

I used Cicoria for some tree removal work. They came to do the work right at the given estimated time frame. They did it with excellent quality. The crew took away every single piece of branches and debris from the work. They are also very professional and did the work in a very nice way. I highly recommend Cicoria for any tree work.

Mark responded quickly and I received a fair price but then had family issues which delayed my scheduling. Several months later they still honored the price given me saying it was good for 1 year (very nice). I was told there would be a 3 month wait and they would call when a time was available. Three months passed into 4 months when I called. In speaking with them, it was obvious I was passed over, but no one could/would say how or why (crap happens-ok). They suddenly were able to quickly schedule me. On the day of they (3 men) arrived on time and began work. The leader of the pack was very annoying with what he apparently thought was humor (the other 2 men were very nice and professional). I had asked for something small to be done, like cutting a branch off a 6 ft tree and he asked how much extra I was paying HIM. The first time I chuckled, but finally after the 3rd time I told him I didn't appreciate what he apparently considered humor and informed him I had 3-8 ft trees on the estimate that a friend took down for me plus a 15-20 ft pine tree that I changed my mind about and left up. They obviously didn't have to do these even though they were part of the price I was paying. He can take his sarcastic humor elsewhere. A maple tree in front of my house was taken down and there was sawdust all over my front porch and walkway...never cleaned up. There were small broken tree branches all over my front yard...never cleaned up. An ornamental Eastern Redbud tree was destroyed. While trying to get to the 100 ft pine they cut the limbs off the entire right side of it after I told them they could TRIM it or take it out completely...not destroy it. I called the office referencing the mess they left and was told they should have cleaned it up. Also mentioned the trees I was charged for that they didn't have to remove and the price should reflect at least some of that. The lady in the office sent a bill with a $100 discount. The owner, Mark, called and said no discount and stated he thought the original price was fair. I then received another bill for the full amount. I obviously thought differently if not just to cover the mess they left for me to clean up. In summary, Mark responded quickly with a fair price; need better scheduling of customers; professionalism rating only upgraded because of the other 2 men who were very nice; the men arrived on time and did a good job cutting down the trees but quality dropped to fair because I could have done without the sarcasm, a destroyed Eastern Redbud tree, and especially driving off leaving me quite a mess to clean up and no explanation or discount for it from Mark.

Their work is outstanding. They can take down trees quickly and de-root it.

Took a while to get an appointment for them to do the job but once they gave me a date and time they came out promptly and did the job.

Excellent. This was the only company that could save part of the tree. The other tree companies wanted to take down the whole tree.

Just as he said it would. Quickly removed, on time.

A bit of a misunderstanding at the actual cut date, but eventually they were able to cut them down and haul away the trunks, branches and clean the immediate yard area to our satisfaction. Great group of people who try very hard to complement the service with exactly what you request to have done. Great Job, not I need to get rid of the stumps and will be all set. Stump removal was not in our agreement.

Great job today by Christian and Mike who were at my home all day pruning hemlocks, tall white pines, overextended Bradford Pear, a crab apple, maple and elm. The guys began work at 8 in the pouring rain and continued until after 3pm without stopping. They were meticulous in their pruning and shaped the trees well. They asked me several times before finishing an area if I was satisfied with what they did. They cleaned up after the cutting and left my lawn area clean and free of any debris. I was so pleased with their care and good work. Kudos to Christian and Mike and Ben Staples, master arborist, who came by to advise them of the goals. I will definitely ask for Christian and Mike again.

They were fantastic.  They were prompt, effeicient and cleaned up well after themselves.  I couldn't believe how good they were!  Their Arborist, Ben, was excellent and did everything he said he was going to do. Honest and good business people all the way around.

The tree was in my front yard close to the electric wires.
They removed it quickly without any problems and removed all debris.
They also arranged to have the stump ground.

They did this on two separate occasions. They were very big trees and they used cranes to do the work. Also when possible they removed the stumps.

The crane and cutting crew arrived promptly and efficiently set-up and began cutting trees, chipping branches and removing trunks. The whole job took 1.5 days with few breaks. They were true experts and cleaned up after the yard after the work. I have used Cicoria twice before and would not hesitate to use them again. I was delighted with the job..

I bid the job to 3 companies and Cicoria had a competitive price and was quick with getting to house to estimate job. Mark is very professional. Quote received same day. Smooth booking of job with office. Guys did a great job, have the right equipment and were fast and neat. Will use in future should need arise.

Quick and responsive!

They weren't the least expensive bid that we received, but we went with them because we believed they had the best equipment for the job. They came in, cut the requested trees down, cleaned up, and had someone come in to grind the larger stumps. We were extremely pleased with their work, and would hire them again if needed.

The crew arrived on time, worked steadily and as an experienced team (4 men). They completed the job in three hours, cleaning up everything nicely before they left. Everything was done very professionally; they were also friendly and the crew chief answered all questions. Before they started, they needed to back the crane into the driveway without damaging the tree that hung over it, which they did successfully. I was very satisfied with the process, and their price was quite fair compared to the bid of another company.

Cicoria was the lowest of 3 bids for removing 3 dead or dying Black Locust trees in my back yard, therefore I was expecting a lesser experience. However they were very responsive, came on time and did the job quickly and with a minimum of mess and cleaned up after themselves. I'm hoping I don't have to this again with this home, but would definitely call them first if I do.Re

They were very efficient and cleanly. They were done in an hour.

They were very professional, and did more than was expected. They cleared my property, even though I didn't ask them to.

I just needed them to prune branches off a large tree in my front yard. They came on time and worked efficiently. Their price was much lower than two other quotes I received.
