After stripping the Shingles Tony went to the dump and left his "carpenters" to install the new shingles. This was at 11 AM. When I came home at 2 PM they had one row of shingles and about 5 feet of the next two rows started. As it turns out it's a good thing that is all they had done because they were not doing it the right way. They had snapped a line on the tar paper and were lining the TOP of the shingles to the line. This made the bottom of the shingles all uneven. Tony wasn't back yet so I had to teach his "carpenters" how to do it the right way. The shingles were not as strait as they should be but it was passable and they finished that day. Now the painter is here painting and he said he had to seal all the seams on the last 3 rows of shingles because the "carpenters" didn't put any tar paper under them !!! Needless to say I am not happy with that. All I can say is Tony needs to find another way to make a living or he needs to hire people who know what they are doing if he is going to leave them alone to do the work. Or he could just change the name of the company to Worst Choice Construction.
"It would be impossible for water to flow over the gutter. I assured both of them of this, as they said they understood. Again I am called. The member states he wants the leaf guard to be installed flatly against the fascia instead of under the roof and pitched properly. I told him, it would make the contract null/void as for a warrantying any debris getting through because where its flat, debris can build up and find its way through. Common sense. I offered to do so but it wasn't good enough. The bottom line is: The job was done professionally and 100%%. The members are wrong to say anything different. I've responded twice, stand by my work. Gutters, fascia, soffit, everything gets wet from the rain, and the rain will travel to the bottom of any object will do, thats gravity. Thats what I saw, nothing else. For them to say the gutters and guards do not work and I did not respond are complete lies. To this day, I've never, ever had a problem/complaint from a customer about my gutters nor my leafguard, never a call to Angie's List, the BBB, nor anywhere for any reason. I have 100's of references from work I've done. Any negative report printed about company/myself/anywhere anytime due to the untruths told by the members would be an unfairness to me and my company and negligent to be done. You are noted and abused if you have any other questions of further questions regarding this accusation to call me @ 978-973-5410."
