I have been a customer of Ashley Fuels for over 10 years.  I bought the house and the prior owner mentioned to me at closing how pleased she was with them.  I am glad I choose to use them.  They have always been available when we needed them and our system has run almost flawlessly and I attribute that to their regular maintenance.  
I recently had them do some work for me ( reroute the fill and vent pipes, add outside air intake for the boiler and perform some other maintenance) as I was remodeling my basement and the work was done very professionally, on time and for a great price.  They are always so pleasant to deal with and have proved trustworthy enough that we have no concerns leaving them alone in the house to do their work.

Everything went well.  The installers really knew what they were doing and took the time to explain how the entire system operates.  Furthermore, they arrived on time for the appointment, kept the area clean while they worked, and did an excellent job.  I can't think of anything that they could have done to improve upon the experience.

First delivery included quick inspection of heating oil tank and furnace.  Arrived 20 minutes early (6:40 AM).  After brief inspection, filled tank and placed on auto-refill.  Scheduled oil furnace cleaning for later date (due to our schedule).
Oil burner was serviced by one of the family owners.  Very professional.  Cleaned up furnace and surroundings well.  Explained minor issues to keep in mind for the future.  Quoted powered venter replacement (as it is making noise) but more of a preventive measure as opposed to an immediate need.  Quote for $1500.  Parts only online for $750.  Not sure how big a job so probably not too far from reasonable for labor and profit.
Price per gallon "A" but could have been a "B" in comparison to cheaper alternatives for fuel delivery as best I could price online and by phone.  I did not go with the cheapest rate or the best intro/new-customer price.  Went with local company in same town for local service and support even if I could save a few cents per gallon elsewhere.  Deluged by new customer requests by other companies.  Rate cap seemed reasonable as a positive benefit.

To my surprise a live person answered (7PM on New Years Eve!) and said they would get a repairman over asap.  He arrived at our house within an hour and went to work on the oil burner, which had been giving us occasional problems for several seasons, and a couple hours later had it running again.  Not only did we get our heat back quickly,  but the recurring problem with the oil burner mysteriously shutting down that had plagued us for a several years despite various contractors attempts at repair appears to finally be resolved.  We have not had another burner shutdown since.  Our optional annual service contract has more than paid for itself. 

Yesterday I noticed a minor oil leak from the fuel filter attached to the tank and called Ashley.  We arranged for the serviceman to come out today at noon.  He arrived as scheduled, replaced a few parts, and even cleaned up the small oil spill. 

We are very happy with Ashley's excellent and friendly service and timely response.
