We purchased a new home in Sudbury with well water. The water tested to be "hard" as well as having low levels of arsenic. Jan came out pretty quickly and gave an excellent price for the filtration system. We had a filtration, softener and arsenic filter installed. Water tastes better than bottled water now. Brian was the plumber. All was done fairly quickly and explained well. Highly recommend

Working with Abbey Water has been great. Jan thoroughly and patiently asked and answered a lot of questions. She and her plumber, Al, came today to install a new calcite dome tank. I enjoyed their professionalism and will look forward to working with them again if any problems arise.

Very impressed!

Jan, the owner/president, was very responsive via email and texts.  She asked me to text her photos of our system to be sure they had the parts they might need prior to coming out.  We set up a time for her and her technician to come out on a Saturday (they don't always work Saturdays, but she was very accommodating to work out a time that was convenient for us).

She gave us a 1-hour window (10-11am) when they'd arrive and they both arrived right at the start of that window (at 10am on the dot) ... in fact, Jan sent an email about 10 minutes before they arrived to let us know they were on their way!

The charge for the service call was $100 (very reasonable) and the parts they used were just under $100, so the entire call was only about $190.  This is even more impressive since both of them were here for over 2 hours ... they made sure everything was in working order before leaving.

I've already told people about the excellent service we received from Abbey Water Treatment, and would not hesitate to recommend them highly.  This company is a example of how service companies should be run (but typically are not).  Thanks Jan: well done!

The owner and technician arrived right on time. They went to work to diagnose an issue with my GE Water Softener. They checked most of the moving parts to make sure all was working well. They were very helpful and professional. My water softener is a lower end unit, yet they worked hard to fix it and did not try to sell me on a more expensive unit. They were honest and practical. Very reasonable rates. I would definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family. Abbey Water made for a great experience, very impressed with their service.

$125

Abbey Water Treatment doesn't install GE water softeners, but they agreed to come out to attempt a repair for a $125 service call.  Jan and her colleague arrived exactly on time.  They were very well prepared, apparently having obtained a service manual for my model ahead of time.  They disassembled the unit and checked for problems.  During their evaluation, they had to pump excess water out of the unit and perform other laborious tasks.  Three hours later, all of the problems had been corrected and the unit worked like new.  They made sure to run a full cycle to ensure it was working properly.  Given the unexpectedly long time two people had to spend working on the unit, I was dreading the bill I was about to receive.  Jan handed me the invoice - I was shocked to see it was $125 as originally quoted!  Throughout the process, they were both exceptionally friendly and professional.  Jan even took a shine to my dog!  They have won a customer for life.  I couldn't have been more pleased with their service.

Aqua Pure honored the 5 year warranty on the tank, but to my surprise, the media and internal plumbing in the tank are not covered. Cost was over $500.

Abbey, however, was totally professional about the work, as they were when they installed the water softener. I would highly recommend them.
