It went fine. Work was done on the promised schedule for the promised price. Varujan even did the rough patching of the holes. He was very flexible in dealing with the extra complexity of dealing with me across the country.

Yesterday my heating system stopped working. This morning, I called the HVAC company, and over the phone we concluded that the likely cause was a faulty breaker, that they are not approved to fix. So, I called Va Electric Co. for the simple task of replacing the breaker. Mr. Abalian was very responsive; he came after just a few hours. He quickly figured out that the problem was not the breaker, but the heating unit itself. At that point he could have collected his payment and leave, telling me that I had to call the HVAC company again. Instead, we called the company, and working together (through Facetime) he was able to fix the problem in the heater. As a result, tonight I have heating, rather than waiting for the HVAC company till next week. He charged me the same amount that we had previously agreed for the breaker replacement. I will certainly call Mr. Abalian again next time I need an electrician.

Varujan Abalian is a really wonderful electrician and a true professional. As with every job that he’s done in the past two decades for me and for my condo association, he arrived on time, went over the work that he would do and how much time it would take, and kept me informed of his progress. He also kept the work area tidy and cleaned up when he was finished. Then, he went over the work with me before leaving. I know that I can seek Varujan’s advice or help any time. Whenever I call or email him, he gets back to me within a day. If work needs to be done, he proposes a range of solutions at different prices whenever possible, so that I can decide what fits my budget. Over the years, he’s helped me in many ways!

We have been using the services of VA Electric for over 15 years . They have done numerous projects for us starting with lighting design and wiring of all our store locations as well as expert guidance and installation of lighting in our new home. They have always explained the different options for the installation , and any challanges involved and have brought in the projects within budget and on time.

Communication regarding needs and options was so comprehensive and assuring . The work and time frame was quick, clean, thorough with the exact results we needed to complete making our home safe and comfortable.
