No subcontractors used - I do all kitty-care personally. Impeccable record of honesty, responsibility with client keys, confidentiality of alarm codes. I was formerly a Big Sister and am in a current mentorship program so I have been CORI checked. What sets Purr-Fectly At Home Catsitting Serice apart from other similar services is that I play with and engage my clients. No rushing in, freshening the water, putting down food, cleaning the litter box, and rushing off to the next client. I offer petting and loving if that is what your cat wants, play if that is what you cat wants (I bring my own toys), catnip and treats (I bring my own) with client permission, etc. I am especially good with prickly cats and scaredy cats who hide under the bed during my visit. I have worked miracles with "difficult" clients: the sort of cats of whom the owner has said "Just do your thing and go - she only likes me, she'll never come out from under the bed for a stranger" - etc. I've even had breakthroughs with clients who own feral cats. If you use Purr-Fectly At Home Catsitting Service, you get me and all of my talents, and MUCH more than a person who will merely see to your cats' physical needs while you are away. Areas of service are Brookline/Brighton/Newton/Watertown/Arlington/Belmont/Waltham and some parts of Cambridge.

Cindy is fantastic!  My cats are what the vet calls "semi-feral" and that was no challenge for Cindy.  She was able to come in a period of time that included their usual eating time.  She fed them, refreshed their water, cleaned their litter box, played with them, gave them treats, talked and interacted with them. Normally shy and skittish, my cats made fast friends with Cindy.  I think they feel they have a new aunt!  Cindy was easy to communicate with via phone and text. She's the best catsitter my cats have ever had!  I will definitely use her when I travel in the future.
I can't say enough good things about her!
The cost was a reasonable $25/visit and she made 4 visits

I love the service! I have been a customer for 15 years, ever since my cat was a kitten. If you don't want to put your cat into a kennel, use this service. Over the years, it has always been reliable, professional and friendly and I use it multiple times a year. When I'm on a long trip, I ask to have the cat box completely changed out (ditching the old litter and liner and replacing with fresh) so I know my cat will be happy. On one trip, I hadn't provided enough litter so she bought new litter (checking with me first) to ensure the box was all set. My cat is particular about his box so this is an important detail. If you're looking for peace of mind, choose this service.

Cindy provides excellent care for our cats and our house when we are out of town. I also never worry when Cindy is on the job! She is very professional, and she is also very caring towards the animals. She brings them treats and catnip, she notices their eating patterns, and she enjoys playing with them. She always goes above and beyond with her customer service.

Cindy always takes great care of our cats and takes the responsibility seriously. One year there was a blizzard while we were away. She checked on the cats and the house as soon as roads were drivable.

I have used Cindy's services for the past 3-4 years to care for my two cats, one of whom is old and needs 3 pills daily! Cindy is absolutely stellar in her reliable pet care. She often agrees to visit my cats on short notice when I have sudden business travel. When I met her the first time she was very attentive to all the details, asked many questions and even tested out the key. My cats are calm when I come home after Cindy has been caring for them so I know she takes the time to play with them. I like that she will text me to let me know how things are going, and she wants me to confirm when I am back in my house to ensure 'continuity of care'. :)

We have used Cindy as our cat sitter for the past few years. She is very caring and attentive to our cats, and even helped us through a scary period when one cat had serious health problems. Cindy always checks in with us during the our trip, and she requests that we let her know when we've safely returned. She knows our cats' personalities and how to best care for them. I always feel secure knowing that she's checking in on them when we are away.

She is incredibly responsible. She is very careful about making sure your home is fine. She turns lights off and on, waters your plants, plays with your animals, cleans up the litter box, etc. There was one time when I asked her to sit for me. I forgot to call her back, but she had already been to the house. She told me a story about an animal that needed insulin shots. She's very responsible.

Cindy has been taking care of my two cats for several years now. They are rescued ferals, and generally shy around strangers, but they are completely comfortable with her. She brings her own toys and treats and remembers which cat likes which toy. She also leaves a light on when I'm coming home, which is a nice touch. I have complete confidence in her and wouldn't think of entrusting my cats to someone else. In fact, sometimes it seems like my cats don't even miss me when I'm away!

Cindy has been sitting for us since 2001. Our cats and we adore her! She is always there when we need her and cared for our cats as if they were her own. Giving medications is no problem. I have always liked that she spends some time playing with the cats as well, especially when we were gone on long trips. We always have peace of mind when Cindy is caring for our pets. She is the best in the business!
