I bought a bathroom fan that I wanted installed in the ceiling above the tub, in order to remove all the moisture. The exhaust needed to be connected to the outside and so this job required a big ladder since I am high up. I called several handymen and did not find anyone willing to do the job due to the height of the external work. Peter agreed to do it and installed the fan. It was a major task since it was a new install and an opening had to be made and work done internally and externally. It ended up taking longer than anticipated and there seemed to be some electrical issues but everything got worked out in the end. I was pleased with the final result and it has been working well. The price did seem high to me but I would have him do additional work and he seems to have a wider range of expertise compared to other handymen.

The job went very well overall. There were a couple of scheduling issues due to illness, but Peter was great to work with. He picked up the materials and did the cutting on-site. The job took longer than estimated, but Peter did not charge for much of the extra time. The finished product looks great.

I was able to make an appointment with Peter within a few days of calling him. He was courteous and professional. It was a small job, but he certainly knew what to do. His price of $65/ hour seemed on the high side to me.

The whole job went very well. A schedule was set and kept and Mr.Vallely was punctual and very professional. It was a complicated job as the siding had to be cut back for the new door. Then the Aluminum trim had to be replaced without looking like it had been repaired. Overall, the job was done beautifully and we're delighted with the results. We all enjoy our new door and will have Mr.Vallely back again, I'm sure.

It went very well. I called him yesterday to ask if he was available today to help a friend move the bureaus from her truck into the house (and move old bureaus into other rooms). The timing was approximate until the last minute, because she was driving several hours to get here. When I said what I needed and that it would probably be about 20 minutes work, he apologetically explained that he has a minimum charge of 1 hour ($65). But I was thrilled he was available on short notice (I can't lift things so I REALLY needed someone fast and it had to be today when she was here with the truck). I was thrilled to meet him and expect I will use him again.

I checked in with him a couple times as my friend's arrival time was becoming clearer (and then when she hit a delay). He said when he'd be here, and he was PROMPT. He is a lovely, friendly man and a pleasure to work with. He had the first bureau out of the truck, down the walk and onto the porch by the time my friend came out to help. He treated the bureaus well. My friend remarked how thoughtful he was about making sure the bureau didn't squeeze her fingers against door frames when they were carrying them around tight corners in the house. He brought in the drawers and then attached the mirror support (and mirror) to the bureau that had a mirror.

Unfortunately, my friend and I were busy doing other things, or I would've thought up other jobs I needed to fill the hour. (Of course, I couldn't think of anything else at the time!) Anyway, the experience was excellent. He also installs air conditioners, which I will keep in mind for the future. I'm very glad I used Peter.

The owner of Peter Valley Home Repairs was very quick to reply to my phone call and very quick to do my job. I am living in a rented property and he was very professional even when I was nowhere near the site. He respected my place.

Peter was friendly and estimated the work very well. I told him what I wanted fixed and he gave me a couple of options with pros and cons for each. He made sure I was happy with his work and took the time to answer my questions. I would definitely hire him again.

The work went exactly as planned and was started then finished on the projected estimate ed time. Actually, it went faster and cost a little less than originally estimated which is quite unusual these days. We'll certainly have him do more work in the future.

Overall, Peter is a very knowledgeable handyman who has a construction background which assists greatly in making sound decisions on how to approach various projects so that his time is efficiently spent making progress rather than relying on trial and error. He has a significant appreciation for keeping his word and being on time which was important to me and my wife as we were very enthusiastic about settling in our new home. We will definitely call on Peter in the future to make further improvements to our home!

I think he is a very honest person. When I have had other contractors I have felt like I was being taken advantage. He will always tell me to get another opinion if I think I need to. He does it individually on his own. He will tell you what needs to be done. I was satisfied and I recommend him.

The bathroom floor has worried me for months. Usually, my son did everything for me, when he lived close. But, I finally had to call someone my sister recommended. This nice man came and saw the floor, told me what needed to be done and suggested I call others for estimates. The others never came to even look at the work. So, I called back and Mr.Vallely said he would come 2 days later. He came at the time promised, started on Friday and returned Monday to finish it. I'm sure I'll have him do other things for me.
