Went well.

I wanted to wait until we had our new lawn in place for a while. We had Mow Dog come by to help fix our yard after a previous companies work failed to last. They came in under our original company, and were on time for all the appointments that they made. The prices were reasonable and we were given thorough instructions on keeping our new lawn. Also, he made recommendations on the best grass type for our dog and her playtime. The grass is thick and green and we have already mowed it several times. WE LOVE IT. Thanks!!

They came out early on the day scheduled and worked through morning light rain until it came down more heavily. The crew returned the next day first thing in the morning and completed the work. It was carefully and meticulously done. I was asked to survey the work before they left and let them know if more needed to be done. When I pointed a couple of very small areas I thought could use more attention, they got right to it. It was a first rate job, with great customer service, done by friendly, highly profession people. Terrific work by Mow Dog Landscaping.

I have used Mow Dog twice. The first time, the company sent 3 men to my yard to do a fall cleanup. The second time, there were 2 men who finished the job. In both cases, I was very satisfied.

I specifically asked Michael if we should kill weeds first, to increase our chances to get a brand new weed-free lawn. Michael said he would take care of this, and promised that the new lawn should have a few or no weeds. They came to put new loam and do seeding two days before heavy rain related to a hurricane was expected (early October, 2016). Lots of seeds were apparently washed out by the heavy rain, and the new seeded area had plenty of big bare spots, in spite of getting regular watering. The following spring I called the company asking to overseed the new lawn. The new lawn turned out to be a mixture of grass and weeds (mostly nutsedge). After I repeatedly contacted Michael regarding this result, he finally came and sprayed a weed-killer. When weeds died and we pulled the dead roots away, most part of our new “lawn” was practically bare. It was a rainy summer, and we were watering the lawn when it was no rain, but the lawn was practically dead, so we needed to start over. Thus, our experience with this provider turned out to be lost money, time, and efforts, without new lawn.

Michael and his crew showed up on time. They did a very good job in trimming the bushes in our front lawns. We paid more than the original estimate because we asked them also to trim a tree in the backyard. They cleaned up the area nicely after the work. Michael is coming back around September 20th to replace our front lawns. We gave him a deposit for the work, per requested. I will be writing another review when the grass seeding complete in the fall.

It went very well. Michael and his team did a great job and the gardens look better then when we bought the house.

Great - very responsive to my scheduling request, and they did a great job tidying up our lawn in the spring.

As far as the snowplowing goes, sometimes they come late in the day and do not call when they are coming.

The work itself was very good. The foreman Angel could not have been nicer. The reason for the D rating is the bait and switch the owner Mike did with the initial quote he provided to me and what he ultimately ended up charging which was 15% over the quote. I relied on the price he gave me to select who I was going with-all were within $200 of each other, with his being the lowest. After the work was complete, he sent me an email telling me that he underestimated the amount of mulch needed and revised the quote by an extra $144 (while also soliciting me for reseeding services for even more money) Had he simply told me that he underestimated the cost but would honor the price given while letting me know that if I used him next year, the price would be higher, I would have been happy to use him again. As it is, he lost a customer. And my response to his email letting him know of my unhappiness about what happened remains unanswered...

Michael was very responsive, quickly answered all my questions by email or phone. After I have contacted him, he scheduled seeding promptly, which was important given the time of the year. Michael and his teem seemed professional and knowledgable. So far, we are happy with this company. Hope we will have a new beautiful grass next spring!

Michael did excellent job. I appreciated that he was willing to clean our messy yard well, he added good layer of mulch to all edges. We will have him come back regularly from now on.

Our condominum screened a number of landscape services, and a neighbor recommended Mow Dog Landscaping.  We couldn't be happier with their services!  They provide both fall and spring clean-up as well as mulching services.  It's very easy to communicate with the owner by email, and he has always responded quickly to my inquiries.  We set a mutually agreeable date and he has always been prompt.  He comes himself to participate in and supervise the work, gets the job done quickly and our lawn area looks excellent afterward.  Their prices are very reasonable compared to some of the other landscaping services in our area.  Based on the 2 years we've used them, I'd recommend the company without any hesitations.

They are very good. They do what they say there are going to do. They gentleman that runs it is very pleasant. I think the prices are fair. I have no problems. I recommended them to my daughter, and now they work on her property too.

The service was great! The front of our house has never looked better. I was pleased to see that other weeds were removed, I did not expect this. I would definitely recommend Mow dog for any landscaping needs you may have.

Service gone as planned.  Would have expected a bigger crew/larger equipment but they got the job done.  Dethatching can be done more gently.
