KERSHAW FLOORS

They did a phenomenal job, I have used them before, and I would not hire anyone else. The price was reasonable, they came when they were suppose to come, they did a great job, and very professional, and I would recommend to everyone. Richard Kershaw, is just great to work with. The floor looks beautiful.

They helped move furniture, they ripped up the old carpeting and they sanded and stained the floors in the dining room and living room. They're very friendly and tidy, and always took care to make sure the cat was unable to get to the wet, stained floor. They blocked the doorways, so dust from sanding didn't get into adjacent rooms. They were gentle and careful with very old, very heavy, glass-front cabinets.

First, they helped move heavy furniture out of the dining room. Then they ripped up the old carpet, including the wood strips with nails tacking it down. They were careful not to damage walls, baseboards, or door frames in the process. They sanded, vacuumed, and stained on Day 1. Then on two other days they did another coat of stain. They were prompt and tidy. They did a great job restoring the floor, and they were a pleasure to work with. I am planning on having them come back to do the living room and possibly a staircase.

We called Kershaw and they fit the now greatly expanded job into their schedule on very short notice. The workmen were experienced, capable, and very professional. Richard Kershaw stopped by and looked in on the job a few times himself. They did a great job and left us with supplies for maintenance of the floors. They also gave good advice on protecting the floors while the movers brought our furniture in. Since the bid was inexact and they knew we were not soliciting other bids, they could have taken the opportunity to overcharge us. They did not. Once we were moved in, we decided to have the entryway floors redone as well. Kershaw came back and did that too. I highly recommend them.
