Mark Betts was referred to us by our landscaper. Mark's work not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every aspect of his work. All work was highly professional, completed in the given time frame and within the quoted price.
Mark replaced a flagstone and mud entrance to the front of the house with a beautiful front walkway. He widened the driveway by removing the deteriorating concrete driveway and installing a contoured and attractive driveway of pavers that led to a paver walkway around the side of the house. This in turn led to a large patio in the back of the house that he also built of pavers.
Mark's ideas are simple, straight forward and beautiful. We were involved in the selection of the pavers from a showroom Mark sent us to where we could see many examples of pavers.
Preparation is the key to good paver installation. Mark did a thorough job in preparing the base for the pavers. The result of all this work has been a paver installation that has continually drawn praises from everyone who looks at the work he has done at our home.
We enjoyed working with Mark and we thank him for creating an exquisite outdoor space for us.

Really not too much to tell here - I met Mark and his assistant Adam in the morning, and left for work. By the time I came home, the cracked concrete was gone, and the new concrete was curing under some protective tarps. Mark came by to inspect the results the next day, and both he and I were satisfied with the results.

I am also happy to report that Mark was right, and we've had several heavy rains since the work was done, with no further leakage into the basement.

EC Betts knocked the ball out of the park on this job, which we actually conducted in two phases. The entire process from quoting, discussing job details, and executing the work was painless and actually a pleasure. Mark Betts and his crew have high standards and it shows in their work product, attention to details, and ability to work with their customers.

From start to finish, we had a really terrific experience with Mark Betts. We called Mark in an emergency situation after some heavy rains had caused leaking in our basement from a damaged basement window and poorly designed window well. We called many different companies for help, and Mark was among the first to respond to messages we left.

Mark came to our house and was able to look at the damaged window and make a good and reasonably priced suggestion (removing the window, pouring concrete to fill the well, and replairing the damaged foundation) to fix the problem. He suggested a temporary fix which worked very well. Once we decided to hire him, he scheduled the job and completed the work, about 7-10 days after the initial hire date. The work was done quickly and well and the problem is now fixed. I would not hesitate to recommend Betts to anyone with a similar issue

The work proceeded as planned with two men perfoming the work over a period of several days. They worked both inside and outside the garage to complete the repairs. During that time, I asked for additional work to be done on cocrete and brick sections above the garage doors and Betts was able to complete the addional work before finishing the job. During that time there were no interruptions to the planned schedule and the job was completed in the expected timeframe. I am so pleased with the E. B. Betts professionalism and the quality of their work that I referred a family member to them. In short, I highly recommend them.
