If I hadn't told him so many times and in so many ways not to do any further work, it wouldn't bother me so much. But I did let him know several times to cease the frequency & extensiveness of his work. However, he continued to do the unauthorized work to pad the bill. He knew when I would be away from the house and he would claim he did work in my absence, yet upon my return, the grounds looked exactly the same. Another problem with his service - it was a fruitless effort to try and halt the work because most of his workers didn't speak English and they didn't take orders from homeowners. I guess what's most disappointing is, I have used his service since 1990. The bottom line is he didn't heed my request to curtail the work & I don't feel I should owe for work I didn't authorize. I have since gone with another company & will not be using his services again.
