Description of Work: Oil valve cover gasket leaking/replaced, rear brakes, oil change, spark plugs, reprogrammed, oxygen sensor replaced, cleaned engine. Good service. Talk to Robert. They can provide auto while yours is in the shop too.

+ -1 moreI needed suspension work on my elderly BMW and have been looking for a reliable mechanic (having recently moved to Arlington). The guys at Boston Motor Werks only work on BMWs, and I'm extremely impressed. They know what they're doing, inside and out, and they did the job thoroughly well. They told me up-front that they're a bit more expensive than some of the other shops around (though they're way less expensive than dealers), but their work was definitely worth it to me. I'm a satisfied customer, and they've become my go-to place.

+ -1 moreThe shop is relatively small with no real waiting room (it is otherwise clean and professionally arranged). But the excellent work at very reasonable prices, the ease of dealing with Rob and the confidence that he inspires far outweigh that minor inconvenience. I have no reservations in recommending this firm.
Description of Work: Rob (owner), a certified former long-term BMW master mechanic, has done four "oil changes" on my 2007 BMW (the brand this shop serves exclusively) since it came out of warranty and maintenance. I use quotes on the term " oil changes" because he goes far beyond what that typically means elsewhere. It not only includes topping off fluids and checking tires, but a checkup of the whole vehicle, which is done with speed yet awesome technical skill . He then provides a really detailed (verbal) report; easy to understand and lacking any hint of the tricky stuff you may encounter at other shops. This includes not only any problems but also estimates of wear time left on key components as well as costs for anticipated future repairs and replacements. This is all interspersed with a barrage of useful facts you didn't know about your car and about BMW's in general. In short, you get a great deal for your money here.
