Ben was fantastic! I have been waiting for months to find someone who knew what to do. Great communication. He had to get a part and drove to the supplier and found it. Completed the job quickly. Very nice person.

It was completely unsatisfactory. I called Ben because two boilers at my house stopped working just after thermostats had been installed on two floors of my house. Ben and I agreed he'd be at my house between 4:00-4:30. He arrived at 5:30. Ben looked at two thermostat installations, declared that each had been done properly. He looked at one boiler in the basement, where the electrical unit wasn't working. Ben thought that the problem was not an electrical one. He then attempted to get work for plumber friend of his, and, after looking at the electrical panels of my house (unasked), for himself too. He charged me $120 for a ten minute service call, which I paid without objection. The next day, I had a heating company (Keyes), come to check the boilers. It turned out that one of the boilers wasn't working because the thermostat hadn't been installed properly. Keyes's bill came to $405, half of which wouldn't have been necessary to pay if Ben had simply done his job. I have attempted to call Ben four times, leaving messages each time. I have not heard back. I have left an email on his website, detailing my issues, and asking for a refund. No return email. By rights, Ben should not just return my money, but pay for half of Keyes's bill, since the charge wouldn't have existed without Ben's missing the source of the problem. Had he taken even another minute or two to do more thorough work (assuming that he's competent to do that), I would have only needed Keyes for half the time they wound up being at my house. I would have settled for a simple refund from Ben. His responding to my calls and email seems the least any professional would have done.

Ben was a pleasure--  knowledgable, professional, prompt, efficient- and he gives clear explanations (without any attitude).
When something came up for me on a Friday that meant the work could not be completed that day, he was flexible about it and came the next day/ Saturday to finish
I presented a difficult situation-- a past (sketchy) electrician had done a lot of faulty wiring and not gotten a permit (he said the job didn't need). Ben immediately knew where there were code issues, and thou they were expensive to correct, if he hadn't recognized them, I unknowingly was facing dangerous under-wired & over-wiring issues     (GC: Matt Veteto)
