+ -1 moreHe was very nice, and I am sure he would have done an excellent job. I felt that the price was a little expensive though. We would not call them back because of the price.
Description of Work: They came out to give us a bid on landscaping. There had been a fire so everything had to be reconstructed in our yard.

+ -1 moreOur grounds are not that big but complicated. The previous owners did a lot of work. It is not easy to clean because you can do a lot of damage taking a rake and blower to it roughing it up. It was just Bill and another person. It took about two and a half days but it was very meticulous and they did a great job. Despite the fact his price was twice as much as others, after I spoke with him I got the sense my grounds were safer with him.
Description of Work: We used him for Landscaping. I used him a couple of days ago. He did a spring clean-up.

+ 0 moreThey were very professional and always on time. The quality of the work was beautiful. They were very courteous and friendly. They had a very competitive price and they were very good at cleaning up after themselves. They were very trustworthy.
Description of Work: They did some masonry for us, two brick pathways, they also did some mulching and reseeding for us.

+ 0 moreThe retaining wall was rebuilt 20 years ago of old railway ties (real ones, not pressure treated with arsenic) and it is still in excellent condition. Bill specializes in good drainage so there has been no problem at all with water behind the wall. He is incredibly honest, responsible, and punctual - he does exactly what he says he will, when he will - and he is a lovely person; I'm always happy to see and talk with him! He has invested extra (unpaid) hours several times in drawing up plans or giving us estimates for work that we didn't end up doing, and he has never made us feel guilty or obligated to do the projects. A truly honorable person and an excellent workman who has chosen to keep his business small enough that he can personally guarantee the quality of every job.
Description of Work: Bill has done a lot of work for us over the years! The biggest 2 jobs were rebuilding a retaining wall in the backyard, and tearing up a large area of asphalt so that we could turn it into a garden. This involved digging out enough to put down gravel first for drainage, and laying out a curving brick walk through the new garden area. (Bill also did some indoors construction and repair work in our first couple of winters in this house.)

+ 0 moreHe really is an expert in his work and I am quite pleased with the outcome. He is wonderful and very meticulous. He is extremely reliable and works very fast. The price was expensive, but very much worth it. His work is superior.
Description of Work: William did some drainage work and replenishing in my herb garden. He also did stone work and put in one whole flower bed in my yard on the strip on the street. He had to dig up the grass and put a bed in there for me and planted all of the flowers. He did some pruning for me also, free of charge.
