The Technician was wonderful! He was very professional, and knew what he was doing! I called to make an appointment and they were able to come to my house the same day!! Their prices are reasonable, and they are on time! I highly recommend this company!

There's an old saying - You get what you pay for - that is certainly true here. I needed smoke-tite applied to the smoke chamber in my fireplace. I found Ultimate Chimney and they quoted me a really low price so I went with them. They came out two days later and did the work. Before applying the smoke-tite, he told me he had to clean the chimney, which took him about 10 minutes. I asked why it had to be cleaned and he said smoke-tite will only adhere to the surface of the smoke chamber if it's clean. So I agreed to pay for the cleaning. After the smoke-tite was applied, I was told to wait 2 days before using the fireplace. To be cautious, I waited 4 days and then used it twice. The third time I used it, a large (4"x 5") chunk and several small pieces of smote-tite fell into the fireplace when I closed the flue. This was when I called Ultimate Chimney for help. During my first call on a Monday, I was told that the incident would be given to the manager for review and he would call me back within 24 hours. By that Friday (the Friday before Thanksgiving) I still had not heard from anyone so I called back and was told that all of the technicians were busy fixing carbon monoxide problems for customers. Funny, I hadn't heard that there was a CM outbreak in our area. I was again told that the manager would call me back and I was assured that someone would be out before Thanksgiving, which proved to be a lie. My third call was on the Friday after Thanksgiving to talk to the manager. I was told that the manager was "not available" but that the message would be passed on and I would be contacted as soon as possible. It's the following Tuesday and still no call. As far as I'm concerned, these people did a terrible job - probably not cleaning the chimney properly - and now they do not want to take responsibility for bad work or service. I paid them nearly $1,000 and now I cannot use my fireplace which I use for heat in the fall/winter. They basically have stolen my money and I am left without a fireplace and will probably have to call a reputable guy to fix their shoddy work, costing me even more money at the worst time of the year. Bottom line - STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. There are much better companies out there who will not rip you off and will do better work. I just wish I had gone with one of them.

Technician arrived and completed inspection prior to agreed upon appointment window.  Prognosis - no liner - don't use.  For $169 I expected at least to send a camera down to inspect the integrity of what was there.  Many chimney sweeps advertise that and for less.  On the positive side they were very responsive and made numerous communications to confirm the appointment.

arrived as promised    Cleaned my hot water and burner flue,  found a lot of birds.suggested new cup with grill so no more bird will come in and i approved the job since they could do it right away.. Very professional and polite.

Our provider was terrific.  He was professional and well versed in his job. He gave a precise estimate and performed to the estimate,  He cleaned up the work area and his customer service was excellent. The provider arrived at the agreed upon time. I had called the afternoon before and was given a window of time for the next morning. They arrived precisely on time at 9:00am. Very courteous and professional. They did a great and thorough job of removing the snow very efficiently. They even cleaned up the walkways when they were done. The price was extremely reasonable as I had heard other companies charging 3times that amount. I have used this company before for chimney and flue work. They even have removed raccoons from my chimney! I am extremely pleased with Ultimate Chimney.

They were prompt, and extremely efficient,. there was nothing for me to clean up afterwards.

I like them very much. They're reliable, on time, and clean. There's never even been a drop of foot and they do a quick, fabulous, on time clean job. They came and it was amazing, we got our house for 18 years and we only use them.

He was there about half day. Chimney was in bad shape, he cleaned and lined it too.

Job went extremely well. Scheduling was accommodating. Ken and Jeff did excellent job of removing some clay tiles inside the chimney to make room for the new liner. They were professional, courteous, and timely (they had to work with plumbers for new gas boiler installation).
Ken was able to fix a minor problem on top of the chimney in order to get the liner cap on right. They repositioned the chimney
access door inside to accommodate the height of exhaust pipes. Overall I believe they went above and beyond to make this project a success (including the office staff Jennifer,Shelly and Rebecca). Would Highly recommend and use again.
