Started in business in 1982. Doing my training at one of the oldest furniture store in the country at the time, Paine Furniture company. I spent nearly 10 years doing shop repairs. Paine furniture carried many of the countries finest furniture manufacturers. Companies such as: Baker, Henredon, Henkel Harris, Kindel furniture. Karges furniture, the list goes on and on. Many of these fine furniture manufacturers are no longer in business, there furniture is still out there in customer homes. I did in home furniture repairs for Paine furniture for close to 10 years. I’ve also done in home service for Cabot House Furniture as well as warranty in home repairs for Ethan Allen Furniture. Starting in April 1994, I went to work for Baldwin Piano company. Started right off in customer homes repairing piano’s damaged on delivery. Along the way I picked up an interest of refinishing furniture at first and as time went by pianos.
