Excellent! The old wooden fence was removed and replaced but we also added a pergola. The installer (Jaime) did a great job and cleaned everything up. He arrived around 7:00 AM and did the job by himself. Very hard worker who was friendly and polite.

Installation went fine. Service sucks!!!!!!! Been waiting for almost a year for someone to come to my home to resolve issues with the fence. Still nothing on the schedule. I was offered an appointment 6 weeks in the future (since I had called last year I thought that was unreasonable since they are already seeing people who didn't call until 2018). Call me crazy but the service should be better than that. I would not use again

Ed came out in about a week and got us a quote quickly and it was reasonable. They warned us in advance that it may be 4-5 weeks before they get to us. But in fact they were able to do the job sooner and it was great.

I received quotes for three different options - the cedar fence, an alternative in vinyl, and a repair of the broken fence. The sales guy was very easy to get hold of and provided the quotes promptly. I went with the cedar and it was installed in two days. For some reason, the old fence posts had been sunk in concrete, and all the concrete had to be removed. The yard was cleaned up both days, and the fence came out really nice.

18 months later, the fence still looks good.

The job was done over a period of two days. The old fence posts had been sunk into concrete, so that all had to be dug out and removed.  The yard was completely cleaned up after the work the first day, and the yard and bushes were in perfect condition when the project was completed the next day.  The fence was installed a little more than a year ago, and it still looks great.

I highly recommend hiring Mr. Fence in Bellingham, MA. The salesperson Ed, was acommodating, meeting on the weekend to answer questions and walk the job site. Ed followed through, within a few days, with an email attaching detailed proposals, including material and labor. Once my engineering service completed the field stake survey, Steve did an awesome job with the installation.

We were buying a new house and needed to have the old fence removed & a new fence installed as well as a mailbox.  They came out & provided us with a quote on the spot.  They measured & gave us several options.  We decided what we wanted, placed the order & then they came out to install the mailbox and fence several weeks later.  The installation took several days and they did a good job and everything looks great.

The representative came out to measure and price the job. He was on time and efficient. He said the fence would be contoured to match the variations of the ground. The fence was installed, it looks good, but it was not adjusted to account for the variations of the ground.

When I called, they came the next day to give me a quote.  Due to the timing of the year, they scheduled it immediately because it would already be difficult due to the ground freezing.  They arrived on time and did an excellent job.  4 years later and the fence still looks as good as new and is standing straight.  I would definitely use them again

I had some chain link fence damage from tree falls over the winter. I had previously used Mr. Fence and was very pleased so I contacted them again. Since they would be visiting for that work, I also planned to have them repair some old cedar fencing that had rot damage.
I called them in the Spring and they advised me that they had received many inquiries for fence repair due to the substantial winter snowfall. So, they warned me that it could be as long as 8 weeks before they could get out to look at my work. I told them that was fine. Only a few weeks later I got a call indicating that someone could come out shortly. They did and promised an estimate shortly.
 I received the estimate, but it was not clear as to what work would be done for the price quoted. I contacted the company with my concern and they said they would review the quote and get back to me. It did take a while, but they sent out another estimator. He was very helpful and clearly explained exactly what would be done for the price.  Not long thereafter, he came back and completed the work and it looked great!

I was extremely pleased with this vendor.
First, the man who came out to estimate the job was very professional.  After he measured, he went to his car and provided
me with a printed copy of the job.  He showed me a piece of fencing similar to what I would be getting.  He told me that all of their installers worked for the company and were not subcontractors, and that he, himself, had been with the company for 13 years.  He made suggestions on how the fence should be installed.  This was done the last week in April.  Their estimate was the lowest of the three estimates I got.  
The man who came to install the fence (Steve) came and he was very personable.  He worked alone, was very neat and took away all of the old fence.  The job was done in a day and a half and looks great.  Steve was very careful to protect the many plantings I had in place.  
I would highly recommend this company.

Very happy with this project.  We have a 30-year old stockade fence around 2 edges of the property, and a 4-foot Nantucket fence separating the front and back yards.  Mr. Fence replaced a couple of posts on the stockade fence that had rotted out and straightened others.  They also replaced 4 posts in the Nantucket fence.  When I got the estimate in June, they warned me the work wouldn't be done before mid-August, which would have been fine with me, but to my surprise, they ended up getting out here just 10 days later.  They had to make a couple of trips, so the work wasn't completed until mid August, but I was very happy with their responsiveness and professionalism.  I highly recommend them.

The job was set up really quickly, which was important as the old fence was falling down and the ground would soon be too cold for a fence installation.  Laurie in the office was very helpful; Mauro came to the house a couple of days later to look at the job and give the estimate.  I asked for an estimate for repair of the old broken fence as well as for replacement, and he provided both, as well as an estimate for replacement with vinyl.  Because of the positive reviews on Angie's List, I didn't get multiple estimates for a fence. I was happy with the detail in the estimate, and the time Mauro took to explain the pros and cons of different types of wood fences.  It was expensive, but I think it was well worth the price.
The fence was installed in two days in early December. My neighbor has a dog, so I was happy to hear that the fence would be taken down and replaced as he went, so there was fencing in place overnight.  The fence looks really good, and everything was picked up and removed with no trace of debris.  The ground where any digging was done was leveled and looks great.  There are bushes along the property line, up against the fence, which had to have been a pain to work around but they look healthy and well-treated as well.

I have a hard time recommending anyone for anything, but in this case Mr. Fence has overachieved in every way. They are great! 
Before the Work:
Appointment scheduling was very easy and a good experience. Paul came out and gave a quick review of their services and fencing that they offered. He was very knowledgable and highlighted some options that they offered which I needed that all others companies tried to sell me gates for. I have 2 different AC units that I need to have maintenance access to and with a wood fence it was easy to have removable sections, but all the vinyl fence companies tried to sell me gates which I would never use which cost quite a bit more for no reason.   They offer double thickness posts, and they worked perfectly for the removable sections as well as keeping my 80+ pound dog in the yard!

Excellent care was taken to put in the fence, and they were extra careful to make sure they secured the open sections with black chain link fence so that my dog was always securely in the yard. This was great, as was the impressive extra care that they showed in not ruining any of the bushes that they installed the fence near. They hit an unmarked water line, and made sure that it was repaired properly and made my wife aware of what happened. Again good company ethics. 
Final Summary:
Mr. Fence was excellent to deal with, and we have a lot more fence to install and replace. As long as they keep up the same impeccable quality of work, and stay reasonable on pricing we will be a customer.

It took a while to get on the schedule (mainly because of the logistics of having someone else paint the new fence.  Cedar fences no longer come pre=painted (because of the popularity of final fences; I'm in an historic district where final is not permitted.)  One the logistics of the painter and the fencing were resolved, Mr Fence was truly wonderful.
