Camp Bow Wow

About us

Camp Bow Wow is a fun, safe and upscale environment for your dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention. We provide doggy day camp for our clients as well as overnight boarding for travelers. Overnight boarders play in the day camp program during the day and are tucked into their individual cabins at night. Our camp features four large indoor play yards which are connected to four outdoor play yards. The dogs are tucked into their cozy cabins in the evening and a cot and fleece blanket is provided. The camp also has live camper cams and an apple and android application so while parents are away they can just login to see their furry friends. We also offer training as well as grooming. Is your four legged companion a barking Boston? A jumping Jack Russell? A biting Boxer? Does your pup need some manners? Ever feel like your dog rules you and the house and your personal belongings have become their daily toys? Our dog training program will help you get those naughty behaviors under control. Behavior Buddies is the Premier reward-based training program from the largest pet care providers in North America. Behavior Buddies was created to help you modify your dog's behavior issues, teach a new puppy the ropes, or make an already good dog a great dog! Sorry we do not provide off site sitting.

Balto loves Camp Bow Wow - he has lots of playmates and is always worn out at the end of the day. The staff is outstanding - super friendly, very knowledgeable, exceptionally caring and always have a bright, cheerful attitude. They treat each dog as special and one of a kind. The facility is clean and very well kept. Very highly recommended!

It was $40 a night and if you use them 10 or more nights they discount it.

Excellent every time I bring my dog here I know he is being well taken care of. Staff is so friendly and always know who we are even if we haven't been for a little while. I have even run into staff outside of the camp and they always recognise my dog. Makes me reassured that the staff pays attention and really cares.

Henry LOVES Camp BowWow. We originally brought our very active Bull Terrier to Camp Bow Wow so that we could vacation without worry. We were able to watch him on their cameras even though we weren't in the country. It was awesome. He came home healthy, clean, and happy. We now bring him about twice a week for daycare. Henry is worn out when he gets home, allowing us to do what we need to do after a long day at work. The staff is awesome and love every dog there.

Henry LOVES Camp Bow Wow! Henry is a 5 month old bull terrier that has a load of energy. We were concerned about leaving our puppy while away on a vacation that was planned long before we got him. I searched, interviewed, toured probably 15 different places. No other business had a better set-up than Camp Bow Wow. The staff is energetic and loving toward every dog that comes in. They also have live feeds so that I can peek in during the day to check on him. The fees are higher than most providers, but you get what you pay for. And Henry is worth it. The cabins that the dogs stay overnight in are spacious. They have their own cot to sleep on, but we also brought a bed. They give medications at no extra cost (he had heart worm pills and flea/tick.) Most places charge extra for that. They even get a peanut butter treat at the end of the night. There are some things that could be improved upon. While a great asset, the cameras sometimes have issues. They sometimes black out. When this has happened, I've changed computers and / or have someone else look at it from another location (to check my Internet connections.) The problems are still there, so I know it's not on my end. They also have a phone app that I'm supposed to be able to watch on, also. I've not had much success with it. I'm sure they'll update to a better version. Because this is a franchise and the franchise is in charge of the video, I don't think it's fair to base my rating on the camera issues. I also wish they had more things for the dogs to keep them busy. They have a bridge in the outside play yards, which Henry loves. They really need to have small pools outside to keep cooler and splash around in. When asked, they said the dogs go back in and slip on the floors. They're afraid of them hurting themselves. Kind of understandable, but there's got to be a solution to that problem. Maybe they could make a maze or something like that to stimulate play. Henry ended up staying at Camp Bow Wow 3 times for daycare to see how he would do. Then he stayed 10 overnights while we were away. We checked in on him several times (even though we were out of the country!) and it was evident that he was HAPPY! That's all I wanted for him was to be safe and happy. I got it. I also picked up a bathed, nails clipped dog at the end of my vacation. Henry will continue at Camp Bow Wow as a day camper a couple of times a week. It's good for him to continue socializing and it wears him out at the end of the day.

Every time we pick up our dog, whether it be a day stay or a weekend the person working the front desk has an update. They let us know who he played with, if he ate his food etc. Its as though our dog is the only dog there, when in fact it is normally packed.
The staff is incredibly friendly and so helpful.

Went excellent. Spencer loves going to Camp Bow Wow. It's great for times when you need care for your dog while away. Or just a drop in for a few hours to burn off some energy. The workers are all fantastic!!

It was amazing, the facility is huge and they are never left alone.  The are playing with other dogs while staff remain with them to keep all of them happy.  The "hotel room" he had was sizeable and comfortable for him.  The very best is that I could go on line and watch him on the web cam to check in on him from time to time.  This was extremely reassuring for me, although he is a year old, he has never been away from  home so this was great.  When he came home he was much calmer than what we were used to and we are convinced that our "Buddy" discovered just what a dog is and what he isn't.  He no longer jumps into our laps as soon as we sit down, which we are very grateful for....LOL he is 85 pounds and no longer small enough to sit on our laps.

I just mention camp and he is at the door with his leash ready and willing to go, tale wagging.  I don't know who likes Camp Bow Wow more Buddy or us.  LOL
I strongly recommend Camp Bow Wow, they understand that these four legged creatures are our babies and take great care of them.

Fantastic! This place is great, the best doggy daycare around. It's clean, caring and our dog loves it here.
The people are so friendly when you arrive,  we have been using Camp Bow Wow since 2013 when we rescued Sonny.
He can't wait to get out of the car.   Your dog will run and play all day, with rest periods and will be tired and sleep when he or she gets home.   An added feature, you can watch your dog on your smart phone, tablet or computer!  Very professional and you can tell the employees really love the dogs.
Give Camp Bow Wow a try,  you will be very pleased with their services.

Our dog Strider LOVES to go to Camp Bow Wow! The moment we pull into the drive he starts getting excited. The staff are very friendly and can always recognize an owner and which dog is theirs. Most of the time Strider is waiting for me when I pick him up because the staff saw me coming. Strider loves all of his friends and always comes home happy and tired after a long day of play. The price is a little high but compared to other places in the area, their service and hours (6:30-7 during the week) work very well with my schedule. Their grooming service is great! Strider looks so cute when he comes home and smells good too! I'm glad Camp Bow Wow offers this service as it makes less hassle for me to get him to a groomer somewhere else. Here he can play with his friends and be groomed in the same day. We love Camp Bow Wow! Thank you!

I have brought my dogs here multiple times and love it. My dogs gets so excited to come when they see the building they cant stop barking and jumping around. The staff are very knowledgeable and caring for the dogs. They know the dogs by name, even if the dogs haven't been for over a month.

I researched many dog kennels before boarding my Duke for the first time.   After narrowing down google searches and reviews, I toured and interviewed 4 kennels.   Camp Bow Wow was beyond the winner of my research.   The staff loves dogs!   Staff are very capable and caring.  The facility is clean -- the lobby, the pens the dogs play in, and dogs' sleeping areas are all clean.

I liked that I was able to tour the facility and ask questions before deciding to go with Camp Bow Wow.   They also were very good making sure Duke was up-to-date on all his shots and that Duke looked healthy when I brought him in.  Duke was interviewed by the camp.   He was left for a few hours with the staff to make sure Duke would be safe to play with the other dogs (make sure he wasn't aggressive or mean).   I really appreciate that the camp requires these steps as nothing is more important than the safety and health of my dog!   I want to know the staff makes sure the dogs all play nice together and that the dogs are healthy and wont spread germs to each other is important to this facility.

It was important to me that my Duke isn't sad when we go on vacation.   Knowing that he gets to play all day with doggie-friends is very important to me.   He plays all day and then goes to sleep happy and tired.   Of course the cameras everywhere are a plus too!   I've looked often to see if Duke was having fun.   He was always having fun.

We left Duke for overnight camp last summer.   It was a perfect experience - for Duke and for us.   We also have brought Duke for daycamp as well.   My family lives in eastern MA and will occasionally spend a long day in western MA (to six flags, big e, etc).  If my family knows we'll be spending a full day, we schedule Duke to hang at camp bow wow for the day.   That way Duke is safe and having fun and my family doesn't have to rush home to let Duke outside.    Duke is already booked for camp for this year's summer vacation as well.  The staff responds very quickly to any phone call, email, or text that I've sent.

Camp Bow Wow is about 30 minutes from my home.   It's actually in the opposite direction of where my family has our annual beach vacations.   I pass many kennels along the way.   However, Camp Bow Wow is the best and worth the drive as I know my Duke will be taken care of.   And my Duke will be happy.

What a great experience. We have a 4 month old yellow lab named Leo that LOVES playing with other dogs and sometimes it's just exhausting taking him to the dog park every day. We wanted a camp we could bring him to and camp bow wow is the one. They have unbelievable customer service and the first all day visit is free as part of the initial interview process. They have web cams so you can check up on your pup throughout the day. They also make sure he takes time to rest and eat. You get a picture of your pup at the end of the day. It really was a great experience and Leo will surely be back. He loved in and was tuckered out for hours afterwards!

Wonderfully! We've been sending our dogs to Camp Bow Wow for years. We love the friendly and professional staff and how they treat our dogs like their own. So when my husband and I were heading to the hospital to welcome our first non-fur child, we knew no other boarding kennel would meet our needs and be so flexible with adding nights. I also enjoyed watching my dogs play on camera through the app while recovering.

Camp Bow Wow provided great pet care for out beloved choc lab, we have left Peppa at Camp for day care and we have also left her for a 10 day period when we went on vacation, every time we pick her up from camp you can tell how happy and how much fun she had! Every time we drop her back off she gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. Camp Bow Wow also provides grooming which we have used a few times. We are very pleased with the professionalism every time at Camp, also pleased with the way Peppa is treated.

My dog gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. She knows where she is at. When we walk in the staff already know her name and are excited to see her. The staff are great and they treat her well. She gets to play with other dogs and I can check in on her with the doggy cam that the facility has. She is exhausted when I pick her up at the end of the day. I have looked at other doggy day camps and this one is by far the best one.
