Technician was quick to call back and would have come out the same day if I was available.  Scheduled a convenient time and showed up exactly when he said he would.  Quickly found and corrected the problem.  Professional, honest, friendly, will definitely use this business again and recommend to others.

John came by on short notice and right on schedule to check out the job.  He observed that actually running a new service would be very expensive and complicated through the finished basement.   He also observed that the dryer was nearby and that we could just piggyback off of the dryer's electrical service with an extension cord and we wouldn't need any electrical work at all; we can just not use the dryer when we are using the new equipment, which should not be very often.  He saved us a ton.   Will definitely use him in the future.

John quickly  responded to my inquiry, came when scheduled, went to work right away, and was informative and knowledgeable.  I will definitely use him again if I need an electrician.

Everything went well.  He contacted us within a few hours of our requesting assistance and arranged to come for the initial visit a day or two later.  Follow-up visits were also prompt, except it took a long time to get one part--not his fault.  Kept in touch through texting when awaiting next steps.  Very nice guy--pleasant and funny, as well as good at explaining problems.

John was a pleasure to work with. He came when he said he would for both the estimate and for the actual work. He did an excellent job and cleaned up everything before he left. The job was very challenging because it was an old house and he had to go up two floors through the crawl space. I was impressed with his getting the job done. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. We have already hired him to do another job for us. I highly recommend him.

I couldn't be happier with the whole experience that I had with J & R Electric.  John Roda returned my call within hours after leaving him a message telling him what work I needed done.  I had already purchased the thermostats and he asked me some questions about my heating system and what kind of thermostats did I have installed.  It turned out that I purchased the wrong type.  He told me to return them and he would purchase them for me.  John saved me money by purchasing thermostats which would do
exactly what I wanted them to do without the extra "bells and whistles" that I didn't need or want.  When I spoke to him on the phone, I told him the dimensions of the thermostats that I currently had and the new thermostats fit the holes in the walls, where the wires came out, perfectly.
John came on the day that we scheduled and at the time that he said he would be there.  He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable.  I would definitely hire J & R Electric again and I highly recommend this business to anyone needing an electrician.

John responded to my request for someone to do a small job very quickly. He was prompt, a pleasure to deal with, and the price was exactly what he estimated. He identified some work that could be done later, and I will definitely call him to do it. Great all around.

He suggested a different location on a different wall and it worked out perfectly. He worked efficiently and I didn't have a mess to clean up when he had to make an opening in the wall for the outlet.

They installed a grounding wire for our gas piping.

Also gave me an idea about some other electrical issues in the house. I am very pleased with his work.

Working with John was easy.  He did a very good job.

He had to get into the attic and get to a very confined space. Everything went well. No issues, even though the workspace was a bit cramped.

John came in and was able to identified the problem and fix it quickly.

Very prompt, knowledgeable, and a really nice guy! He got back to me very quickly, came when he said he would and did a great job! He seems very honest and didn't do any unnecessary work when I asked him to evaluate some other potential issues.  I have also asked him to look at a house I made an offer on and he did a very thorough inspection. This was a very tough job to do. I put out several requests for this work to other contractors as well. Many came out to view the job. He answered the call as well. He showed up on time and the price was very reasonable. I have used him in the past and his work quality was the same for that job as well. While many other contractors did not have time to do this job, he took the job and he performed it in a manner that he has probably done for his other customers. There is a reason why he usually gets the A rating. He will leave when the job is completed and he has reviewed the job with you.

John identified problems and gave me pricing for correcting these in addition to my original request.  John pointed out things I never saw and facilitated correction of these.  I am both appreciative and impressed.

He answered his phone, went over issue with me, gave me a time he would be there (next morning) Arrived on time next day, fixed all the issues and did a nice job. Called me from the job site after he'd complete the work. Was done in a little over an hour. I'd recommend him highly!
