Mendell Oil Burner Service

He came within an hour, found the problem, and fixed it. He didn't take money for the emergency call, but will fold into my yearly tune-up to be scheduled soon.

Everything went perfectly. Ron is a great guy and very professional. I've had Ron service our boiler for years and will continue to do so.

Ron showed up right on time for our initial visit and was kind and courteous. I had originally scheduled just a cleaning but he immediately noticed some other (very visible) issues which weren't major but certainly needed to be addressed. He quoted me the parts and labor on the spot with a quick phone call and said he could return later in the week and get the entire job done. He came back out 3 days later, and again right on time which I appreciated. He came with his son and together they replaced the parts, cleaned the entire unit top to bottom.  It's never looked or functioned better. I'm not sure what those oil company service guys have been doing all along because it looked like it had never been touched inside. Ron finished the work and spent time explaining to me what he did as well as answering some questions I had. Overall, I could not have been happier with the service I received and will DEFINTELY call him again should I need future service.

This is a small local business that specializes in maintaining and repairing oil burners.  It is not a sideline of a company that is primarily in the business of selling oil or HVAC equipment.  I have used them a few times.  They show up on schedule, they do a thorough cleaning and inspection of the oil burner and furnace, they replace parts that need periodic replacement (e.g., the nozzle), and they are courteous and tidy.

Ron showed up on time and did a very thorough job, probably the best service that the equipment has ever had.  He explained everything and made some recommendations for improving performance.  I like the fact that he's an independent contractor who specializes in oil burners, not part of a company whose primary business is delivering heating oil.

Mendell Oil Burner Service was recommended by another company we contacted who was unable to help us.  After the initial contact and discussion, a price and service date was arranged.  They arrived on time on the service date and performed the work expediently.  We are very pleased with the service, and with some helpful advice provided.  We will be contacting this company again for an upgrade to the line from the oil tank to the furnace in the future.

EXCELLENT.  We will be using Ron in the future for sure for any other work.  Ron also installs mini-split systems and all sorts of other HVAC products.
