Went well - Only down side is could have provided more info on plans/start time. Crew was very professional and did a good job. Was not the lowest price but could do the work in our time-line.

It went well everything was removed as stated and at a very timely pace. Did however have one small error in they started to cut the wrong tree , even though I went thru the yard with them and had the trees to be remove all tagged with orange tags. Luckily only one limb was removed from the tree and as it is a very large tree it did not do anything to the look of it. I would still rehire them as they did very good work and for a very reasonable price.

Dave is responsive, his crew did a great job. They did everything they could to protect the yard from damage by the heavy crane they needed and he has said he will have someone come once the snow melts to fix up one area where the sidewalk caved and the lawn got really chewed up

The crew showed up at 9 and finished taking them all down by 6 pm. The next day, they came an picked up the logs that were remaining and the day after that they came back and ground down about half the stumps in the front yard. Several of the trees were close to the house and to the electric wires and they took good care to remove them without any issue. I would definitely use David again.

It went very well. Dave was delayed a couple of weeks due to equipment problems. But, that didn't really cause any problems. Removed the tree and did a nice job of cleaning up. The next day, they came back and removed the larger logs.

David was at my house within a few hours for an estimate when I initially called him, where others took days or even weeks to even show up for an estimate. Not only that, but when I had finally got other estimates for comparison, David was also the best price. His team showed up and took great care not to damage the lawn with any equipment. Tree was down and cleaned up within a few hours and he came back a few days later to grind the stump down. David will be my first call for any future tree issues!

The team arrived punctually, went to work immediately by scaling the trees, and dropping the target limbs. Due to the nature of the property, I had them leave the limbs on the ground where I'll cut them later in the spring. They would have done more, but I was more interested in a fair price to remove the offending limbs in a timely fashion.

They were wonderful

The crew showed up on time with a crane truck that just barely fit through the gate to my back yard.  The crane operator was very careful and caused no damage passing through the narrow opening.  The crew laid down plywood to keep the truck from leaving ruts in my back yard until the truck got to my chain link fence.  The crane was carefully weaved through neighboring branches until the top was above the damaged sections of the giant split pine.  A rope was dropped to the ground and one of the crew was hoisted up to tie a strong rope to the split section that was above my fence.  The person was lowered back down and the split section was yanked up and then carefully placed on the ground, causing minimal damage to neighboring trees.  The same process was used for the other split section.  The remaining trunk of the pine, still about 60-70 ft. tall, was then carefully felled away from my property and neighboring trees.  All this was done with minimal damage to nearby trees and none to my fence.  
The other tree that needed to be taken down was dead, and only about  10" in diameter, but it was about 70 ft. tall and leaning against a neighboring pine.  The crane operator, with the help of the hoisted crew member, lifted the dead tree off the ground and carefully placed it down away from my fence, again, causing no damage.
When done, the crane was again carefully driven over the plywood sections to clear my back yard, and the crew cleaned up any small branches in by back yard and any debris in my driveway left from the trucks.
The whole process took about 2 hours and I was thrilled that it could be done so carefully.

David Dillen was the only landscaper/ tree person who would do the job for us by hand.  All the rest wanted to bring in small backhoes which is not possible given our extensive gardens and small plot.  David was professional, courteous and skilled in his work. 
The only reason we did not give him an 'A' for promptness is that both for the appt. to see & estimate the job & the day of doing the work he was delayed by more than 30 min.  However both times he called to inquire if arriving late would be a problem. We did not find this to be an issue but mention it in all fairness. 
We were extremely please with the care Dave took doing this difficult job without damaging any of the surrounding plantings as well as the extremely neat manner in which he left the sites. 
We then hired him to remove some small 20 ft high trees- equally well done and will hire him again for future needs.  We highly recommend Dave Dillen for shrub and tree work.

It took a few days before he could start work because there had been a recent storm and several other customers were ahead of me in line.   My trees were not urgent, so he completed his other work before beginning.   He told me when he would arrive, and he arrived on time.  He and his crew were quick and efficient.  The trees were removed without damage to anything around them, and the large logs were removed a couple of days later.  He took precautions to not damage the lawn with his machinery, and he cleaned up well after the work was done.   I was pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone.

The tree removal process took the entire day and went flawlessly. They brought in a big crane and there was a crew of 4 people. The crew was very professional and they knew what they were doing. All of the work was done methodically and when the left the yard was clean.

David's name came from one of my wife's friends who just had some tree work done by him.  Initially I called David and 4 others to get estimates on the work.  David was at first a little bit difficult to get a hold of, but once I did, he was very prompt in getting an estimate to me. Once I decided to use him, rather than one of the other four firms I got estimates from, he scheduled and completed the work in less than a week.  His price was the same as one of the other four firms, but decided to use him since our friend had a positive experience with him. The other three firms were all about 40% higher in price.
David did the work during a weekday while we were at work and he left the yard as neat and clean as it was before he arrived. The day after he completed the work, I left an envelope with the check in it taped to the side door and he came by early this morning to pick it up.  I never had the pleasure to actually meet him.
Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would certainly use him again.

The crew arrived and worked hard to make sure that everything was done exactly as I wanted.

They did a good job. Their clean up was not that great but otherwise they were good. Their pricing was really good.

Some of the trees were not easy to get to so they got my neighbors permission to cut from her yard. They cleaned up both of our properties immaculately. They did the job in a day. They asked me what we wanted to keep and use. I was very happy with their work.
