landscaping, snow removal
 + 0 moreGreat work. He is young, so still learning how to communicate effectively, when, e.g., his plow rig breaks, but he is smart and working hard to set up his business. He is also on the Becket Conservation Commission. On the one hand, it is good that someone with his depth of knowledge of the law is on the commission and it is generous of him to donate his time. On the other, it does put him in a conflict of interest position (as often happens in a small town). So far, he seems to handle that conflict professionally.
Description of Work: Summer of 2008 Derrick planted 2 trees, repositioned 2 boulders, and replanted 2 other trees that another landscaping company had planted too deep. Seems to know his stuff. We have planned Spring work. He also has been plowing snow for us. Nice work. Unlike the plowing from the company that we had last year, Derrick's job let's us get the car in and out of the garage easily and he has not run over anything.
