David Starret is a private carpenter and he is wonderful. He has been doing work for us, off and on, for the past two years. He is terrific. He is a very skilled carpenter. He bills about $26 to $28 an hour. I think it cost us less than a $1000 for him to put in two sets of custom French doors, including the materials. We trust him with keys to our house. We would absolutely use him again in the future.
