I had a horrible experience with him. I would tell other members to avoid him at all cost. He is money hungry. He takes my money and he steals my materials and he leaves the job. I have a roof that is leaking right now. For a little over half of the roof I paid him nearly three quarters that he needed for the job. He decided that he didn’t want to work for me anymore. So he stole the materials for the remaining part of the roof and I had to hire another roofer to complete the job. I took him to the state consumer affairs office and it was completely useless. I basically threw away $10,000 with him. He was just not a good guy. The second roofing company wasn’t much better. He left the job three-quarters away and then I had to hire someone else to do it. This was all reference from friends and I will never do that again. The insurance company paid me for flashing around the chimney. He didn’t even put flashing around the chimney. He left a limb from a huge oak tree in front of my house. There was a hole in the roof for 3 weeks. Actually, when he started the job there was a hole in my roof for a week and half. I asked him to focus on it immediately because I wanted to protect my house. He didn’t do that. He does not follow instructions. Every time he shows up, he wants a check. He was very unprofessional and not to be trusted. He was a one person operation. I asked him to complete the job in 2 weeks because he was a single worker. The job pulled on for over a month. He did not clean up behind himself every day. My front lawn looked like it was a dump. He left the job three quarters of the way through. He stole the materials that the insurance company purchased.
