The service was increasable. We had a crew of three that had our old house packed up in three hours. They ran into a lot of problems with our new house they found ways to get all of our stuff in place with no damage done. They were professional, polite, and thorough. Nothing has ever been damaged. We got a follow up call to make sure everything went well.

Mercury movers did a fabulous job! Jessica the owner and her staff were so pleasant during every conversation I had with them. Our move out of our condo into storage, then into our new house was complicated as our move date changed so many times. Jessica could not have been more understanding and accommodating!! The days of our moves went great and the movers handled everything very carefully. The movers were very friendly and accommodating, especially with our instructions with our new hardwood floors. We will definitely use then when we move again and I highly recommend them!!!

The packing and moving experience was very satisfactory from the beginning to the end. The packing was excellent and everything came through without any damage. The crew were friendly and very competent overcoming many diffficulties in the loading in Boston with ease. We moved on the busiest moving week of the year in Boston. Due to scheduling problems the furnishings had to be moved into the garage and garage loft since the new condo had not been vacated. This was done with great care and in such a manner as to make moving into the condo the next day straightforward. The padding was left on the furniture to prevent damage to be returned to Mercury when no longer needed. All in all a difficult move was made tolerable by the flexibility and competence of the crew. We would definitely recommend them to others.

We used Angie's List to find Mercury, so we expected quality and we got it. Mercury performed extremely well in all aspects of our move. We would recommend Mercury to friends, relatives and anyone else who wants a company that prides itself in making your move problem and worry free. We cannot say enough about the professionalism of this company. Its owners and employees seem to know what it takes to make moving about as painless as it can be. Mercury took excellent care of our goods and our homes on both ends of the move. We were particularly impressed with the friendliness, cooperativeness and professionalism of the movers that Mercury had move us, both from Boston and to Milford. This is a company that prides itself in pleasing its customers and doing things right. We highly recommend them.

I hired Mercury Moving in June of 2013 to move me from my 3rd floor walk-up condo in the South End in to a townhouse a mile or so away. Great team! Everything arrived in perfect condition, the walls in the shared stairwell were untouched (a feat in an old and twisty stairwell), and the move in to the new place went smoothly and quickly. Mercury also accommodated my need for a few days of storage between move out and move in AND took care of all the parking permits with the City of Boston. I hope I don't move again for quite some time BUT, if I do, I'll call Mercury.

Mercury was punctual, clean and very helpful. Nothing was lost and the one item that was damaged was repaired at no cost. The .Hennessey's are great to work with and have great attention to detail.

I had to move much more quickly than I had anticipated. So I was pretty unglued when I called Mercury moving to arrange the details .Jessica(Mercury Moving's rep) was pleasant, helpful and reassuring. The gentleman who arrived punctually to make the move were very competent, courteous and helpful. I was particularly concerned about the handling of my upright Wurlitzer piano. I was moving from the third floor of one apartment building to the third floor of another which required a lot of strength, stamina and planning to navigate the twists, turns and angles on the staircase. There was none of the grumbling or arguing one sometimes hears from service people. They cooperated with each other and even occasionally laughed and joked-quite a feat while descending and climbing six flights of stairs. Hopefully, I will not have to move again for quite some time but Mercury Moving is the first company I will call or confidently recommend to friends and neighbors.

They were the only moving company who would touch our printing press. It is just a bit awkward and very heavy. I explained that we need 4 guys who know what they are doing and my husband can talk them through it. This is exactly what they sent us and it went perfectly.

They unloaded the truck on the 12th and did an excellent job and I was very satisfied with them. They were the most expensive, however they very careful, there was nothing broken or lost, the men were pleasant to work with, and I think it was money well spent.

This was a major move with the movers being a significant expense. I relied on Angie's List for references and talked to two companies. Both came to the house and gave me estimates. Even though the initial estimate I received from Mercury was somewhat higher than the other moving company I ended up going with them. This was partly because I liked the response from Jessica in the office at Mercury and also when I asked for a second estimate from the other company I never heard back from them. Jessica was great when the closing on the house we were leaving took longer than planned and again when the closing on the second house was moved out another week. She was able to book the dates we needed and store everything for an extra week. Although I had sticker shock initially, when pickup day came and we saw how hard the guys from Mercury worked both my husband and I thought it was a fair price. We had been in one house for 30 years so we had a lot of stuff and everything was treated so well. They padded all the furniture and shrink wrapped it. They were such easy going guys, polite, friendly and unflappable--just the kind of qualities you need during a high stress event like moving. I was afraid there might be complaints if something wasn't prepared just right (we did all our own packing) but there was nothing like that. And on delivery day, we experienced the same service. They were on time and patient with us since our new house was somewhat smaller with more restrictive doorways, stairs and so on. They helped us when we ran into problems and were patient as we tried to decide the best thing to do when our queen size box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs. These guys were terrific. I highly recommend Mercury.

I bought an oversized piece of furniture from a large furniture company. I neglected to realize that the piece was too large for a narrow stairway in my home and when the furniture company delivered the piece, they were unable to get it up the stairs. I really, really wanted to keep the piece that I had ordered, but the company wasn't willing to be very creative to get the piece in my home. I had used Mercury Moving in the past and thought that they would be able to help. They were successful in getting the piece of furniture into my home and exactly where I wanted it. They are the best company out there and I will definitely use and recommend them to anybody looking for a mover.

We had to move out of our apartment and into a brand new home in two days. Up until our closing date, we were scrambling to get everything we needed done for the new house, which left very little time for packing. So, we hired Mercury Moving to pack and move our apartment into our home, including a garage filled to the brim with boxes, and stuff we were storing for the new house.
From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Mercury. The business manager checked in with us regularly to prepare for the move, asked a lot of questions to make sure they were able to provide the services we needed, provided sound advice on getting ready for the move, and made accommodations for our schedule.
The guys showed up right on schedule both Friday and Saturday, and worked hard all day both days. They packed up our entire two bedroom apartment and moved and unpacked it all in the 48 hour period we had agreed to. In the new house, they were very conscientious about the new wood floors and newly painted walls. We really couldn't have been happier with the job they did, and the guys were professional, worked hard, and were just all in all pleasant to work with. The guys were very helpful throughout the entire process.
At the end of the job, when it was clear they were completely exhausted, they still had us walk through the whole house to make sure everything was in the proper place. I really can't say enough good things about this company. The price was what we had been quoted and the business manager followed up with us after the move to ensure everything went as planned. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

A few days before the move, I received a phone call to make sure we were all set to go. I was asked if I had any questions and we went over the arrival time and what I could expect. The movers arrived at the scheduled time. They packed my house on 4/24. First, John who was the driver and lead mover walked thru the house with me and we discussed any special request that I might have. He had two other movers work with him all morning. John had told me that two additional movers and a second smaller truck would be arriving after lunch. I had them pack some large items such as an antique grandfather clock, mirrors, lamps and a glass round table.
I had a great experience with Mercury movers. The movers on the team were all very professional and they really worked well together. They were fast and efficient yet very careful.

We had moved 11 years ago with another company who is know for being the "giant" in the industry, but is also very pricey. My husband just wanted to go with them again. I decided to call them as well as two other companies that had great ratings on Angie's List. I'm really glad I did because we would have paid over $5,000 to move with that company. (The other company I called would have been about $1,000 more). Not only is Mercury less expensive, but they actually give more service than any moving company we have ever encountered. Garry and Jessica, the owners, treated us like family, finding ways for us to save money at every turn. Garry found me a separate piano mover, even though they do move pianos, since I am musician and wanted a company that specialized in moving expensive grand pianos. (Garry told us that if it were he, he would definitely have specialists move a $30,000 piano!). Garry spent a lot of time with me giving me tips on how to save time. (We didn't have to unpack our dressers, for instance). He also gave us wardrobe boxes for free.The people Garry and Jessica hire are top-notch-- very professional and hard-working. I was particularly impressed by Jae, who is strong, fast, careful and customer-oriented. He is a real leader. The guys packed up our furniture the day before to save time (and money) and were extremely fast and strong (carrying 3 boxes sometimes at a time) but also took extra time when needed, particularly with some of family antiques. They took care of our newly painted walls and newly varnished floors and were upbeat and helpful the entire time. I was blown away by how much better they were than the more expensive competitor we had used before, who had refused to wrap our mattress (and it got dirty) and also chipped one of our antiques. We had no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend Mercury Movers. In fact, they are the only company we will use from now on. Thanks Garry and Jessica!!

I filled out a pretty specific move questionnaire and based on that, I was given an estimate that seemed pretty reasonable. I spoke with Garry Hennessey regarding the estimate and asked him some specific questions related to the move a couple of days prior to our move date. He was very knowledgeable and answered my myriad of questions. On the day of the move, it could not have gone smoother. The 3 workers were polite and professional to the highest degree. They worked quickly and effortlessly, even though our boxes and furniture pieces were pretty heavy. And they finished in record time. Additionally, our new house had pretty narrow hallways and smaller doorframes and I had asked the movers to carry an oversized armoire to one of the kids' bedrooms upstairs. Unfortunately, the armoire did not fit even though the movers tried several different ways to fit it in. Even when I said that it was fine to put it downstairs, they kept trying alternative ways to get it upstairs. All in all, they made a stressful move a very pleasant experience. AND, they came in under the estimate. I could not be happier.

Mercury Moving did a fabulous job packing a ton of very fragile items that were unpacked by us at the other end without any damage what-so-ever! The moving process was amazing - the guys were thorough, fast and efficient, while also being careful with the things they were moving. They were also helpful setting some things up at the new house. The entire moving crew were very friendly, professional and a lot of fun!

When I requested an estimate from Mercury Moving I found them very accommodating and professional as they explained to me how to pack certain items that I was packing myself. That is before I hired them. I found everyone pleasant to deal with. We had them pack all the china and dishes a few weeks before we moved. As we were building a new home our furniture had to go into storage for 5 weeks. The 3 movers came and packed everything very carefully and then moved our belongings into their storage facility. When it was time to come to our new home they were very careful in making sure all the items were placed exactly where we wanted them. We even changed a couple of things from where we initially thought they should go. We have hardwood floors and I asked if I could place felt pads under all the furniture as they were bringing it in. They placed the pads on everything themselves. They couldn't have been more helpful than they were. We also required a crating company to stabilize the front load washer and take apart the Elliptical exercise machine. They advised me that was necessary to protect our items. The crating company came back after we moved in and set up the washer and dryer and the exercise machine.The crating company also came up with an idea in the set up that gave us more room in the washer and dryer area. Needless to say we are so impressed with the way Mercury Moving handled our move we are telling other people in the complex where we moved that are also building a new home. Their expertise and guidance helped make this move a very smooth transition for us.

100 degree day, move went very smoothly. The men worked extremely hard under difficult heat and humidity and never complained. They were all very courteous and respectful. I would definitely use this company for my next move. Jessica and Garry were very professional and always available to answer questions.

This was the 2nd time I've used Mercury Moving. They do an excellent job starting right from the initial cointact. Garry and Jessica were very helpful answering my questions and setting up the move. The movers arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and handled all of my things with great care--even having to go up and down a tight curved staircase at the apartment. Mercury Moving makes moving day much more pleasant, after the first time I used them I decided I would never try to relocate on my own again. I will use them again!

An excellent experience. Both Jessica and Garry were very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. The packers and the movers were prompt and courteous. We were moving most of our stuff into a self storage location and when a few items didn't fit, Garry offered to store them at Mercury's warehouse free of charge for a few months until we move into our new home. Everything was packed and moved quickly, efficiently, and carefully. I would not hesitate to recommend Mercury or use them for future moves. We also passed along their contact info to our realtor so that she could recommend them as well.
