Tom Curren Companies

The guys from Tom Curren Companies did an excellent job. We had about 15 windows replaced, and it was not a simple replacement, as we wanted the new windows to be at least the same size as the old ones. They were very professional, responsive, courteous, and did great quality work. They also took care to clean all debris and even dust (!) before completing the job. We would definitely recommend them, and would hire them again in the future.

Everything looks great. Workers were super.

We are very happy with the door installation. Communication before and during the project was good. The carpenters and painters were highly skilled and careful to keep the area clean when they left each day.

I called to get an estimate on either repairing or replacing an old wooden entry door

This is our second time using Tom Curren Companies (they renovated our kitchen last year). Things were a bit slow getting started this time but seems related to Covid situation & rainy weather. Once scheduled, however, the workers were on time and did a great job, both the carpentry folks as well as painters. Quality is top notch, and even the painting - no spills/drips and color matching of clapboards perfect. Staff are all very professional -asked questions, provided options and ideas, etc. to be sure that we were happy with the outcome. We did have one change order when workers found another rotted trimboard on the roof/eave area.....this added another $900 to the price which did seem a bit pricey. **Please note the photo attached was before the painting was done.

This work started at the beginning of the Covid-19 stay at home period. TC's people were courteous, flexible, and professional. They met our timing needs. Their work was clean and expertly done. We've had other window companies in the past and this service was much better!

They told me they couldn't come see me for an estimate for almost 3 weeks. When the man came, he was very nice and all, but said they were booked until at least the end of August and that they COULD do the sanding I wanted, but that wasn't really their thing. I asked him why they didn't tell me on the phone that they were booked that far out, and he said because they like to meet potential customers to establish a connection. I pointed out to him that they had now held me up almost 3 weeks from hiring someone else, and could have said they really weren't the right people for the job anyway. Overall a very unsatisfactory encounter, and I will not recommend them to anyone. I could have had my work done by now, but wanted to give them a shot, as they came highly recommended on Angie's List.

The team was very professional, courteous and efficient. When they were finished restoring the severely weathered Spanish cedar siding, the siding looked new (looked exactly like it was when it was installed 16 years earlier. I could not have been happier. I do not hesitate highly recommending them for this type of job. The job they delivered exceeded my expectations!!

Carpentry work went extremely well, particularly the removal of a difficult non-functioning pocket door and installation of a bi-fold door. Power washing was thorough and external painting was well done. We were pleased with the results. All of the workers were polite, professional and qualified. Outside work relies on good weather; the only drawback was the rainy spring in 2019 caused our power washing and painting to take place much later in the calendar year than we would have liked. We urge all customers to schedule their work as early as possible so they can be closer to the top of the list.

Tiago and his Tom Curren Co. team did an excellent job painting our house. We were particularly impressed by the quality of their work, attention to detail, and flexibility in addressing our questions and requests during the project. Tiago carefully planned the job and effectively managed his team always keeping us in the loop in spite of many rainy days. He is very knowledge, highly skilled, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Tiago and his Curren Co. team. In fact, we are already planning future projects and Tiago and his team are our first choice.

The whole process from initial inquiry through job completion was very professional. The job estimate included photos of thee areas to be repaired. The crew was punctual and neat, covering furniture as needed in the morning and cleaning up in the afternoon. The job was completed with the estimated time.

the team arrived on time and did an excellent job of preparation of surfaces, and protection of floors and surrounding surfaces. The painters were thorough and careful, no paint splashes or missed spots, the areas of the house which were involved were left clean. the team leader communicated well with us during the project. Hard working, considerate, and careful crew. A superior painting job.

They did a great job of picking up the pieces after another contractor abandoned our project in the final stages. They came up with creative solutions to tricky trim/carpentry issues and did a great job of completing the project on budget and on schedule. They took care to clean up after themselves at the end of every day. The entire team is organized and friendly. Highly recommended. Such an great experience!

I have never been anything but FULLY PLEASED and delighted with the work done by Tom Curren Companies! They are a pleasure to work with, and their work is excellent. They start and end on time, and keep the lines of communication open. Only once in 15+ years did a job cost more than the estimate, and that was due to unforeseen complications. I recommend them without hesitation.

I appreciate so much how quickly and fully your people responded to our my Monday morning phone call about a sudden leak in the guest bathroom ceiling. Luke was right on it, came out to assess that morning. He had a plumber here next asap which was the next morning. Then Tiago came today to repair and paint the ceiling so now everything finished. Tiago who had been here prior for the initial job of repair and replacement of parts of the exterior of the house, was very professional in every way. All the staff I have dealt with have been very pleasant, quiet, neat and professional in every way and have each done their part of job very well from what I’ve seen. We are extremely pleased with your services.

Overall the company did a great job the crew chief was very fast and affordable and I was surprised how quickly they got the work done . Jake the sales guy was very transparent And Diego the crew chief was easy to work with

Company replaced an old metal garage window. They suggested the best priced window from a good quality company. The window had to be set into a concrete wall and they did a nice job fitting the window into the opening. The framing was nicely done. They also replaced a garden shed door for us that other people thought would be very difficult to replace.

Excellent work in every way. We have hired Curren for multiple painting and carpentry projects over many years. They are immediately responsive, always dependable, very friendly to have in our home, and provide excellent quality work.

Tom Curren Companies did a beautiful, immaculate job painting our house in 2012. When we moved to a new house in 2018, they were the first company we called for an estimate to paint the interior of the entire house. While their estimate may not be the lowest that you receive, the value they provide and the incredibly high quality of the work they do is absolutely worth the cost. It's also so convenient that they can care for many different types of work: interior/exterior painting, tiling, carpentry, repairs, and remodeling (to name a few). Bryan turned around our estimate incredibly quickly and helped get us on the schedule as soon as we were ready to go. Diego was our crew chief and he and his team completely transformed the look of our home, taking time to do extensive prep before painting to make fixes large and small so that the final look is like paint going on brand new walls in a 100 year old house. And Chris, our project manager, helped walk us through a tough paint decision and made coordinating the details of the entire project a breeze. Everyone we work with at Tom Curren Companies is a pleasure. We can't recommend them highly enough!

All of the work was completed neatly and professionally, and was of top quality. The garage doors are exactly what I had hoped for. Nobody else I could find around here would even consider making carriage-house style doors! Tom Curran's people stayed in close contact with me throughout the work, to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The repair of the water damage and repainting in the mud room matches the rest of the room perfectly. The new threshold for the side door is better and stronger than the original one ever was, and the repaired and re-painted fence is also perfect. Everyone assigned to these projects worked together well as a team and were a pleasure for me to get to know.
