Excellent service.  Professional and quick.  Respect for my home and pleasant manner throughout.  No abrasive products used and house was left looking and smelling clean and fresh.

I wasn’t satisfied with their services and that is why I did not retain them. The biggest issue I had is that I believe they both smoked. While they may not have smoked while they were in my home, their clothing reeked and my home actually smelled like they were smoke when they left. I did not like that at all. They charge $125 every other week. I asked them to do something, and they never responded.

Generally they clean well when I have the regular group. They know that I want vinegar and water on the hardwood floors, not their slippery cleaner. One thing they don't clean is body fluids; specifically cat puke. Sometimes I don't know that my cat puked under the table. They clean around it. It would be nice if they left me a note.

They gave me an estimate over the phone to clean a 500 SF apartment of $164/hour for 4 workers. She said "...it shouldn't take more than an hour for an apartment that small." The cleaners left me a card stating I was going to be charged $451.00! When I called they said it was the correct price - I almost died. That meant it took 4 people over 12 man hours to clean our small, tidy apartment! They said that it is their policy to call the owner if they are going to go over the agreed upon price but in this case they did not, so she would give me a "credit". I have asked the Mayor's Office of Consumer Affairs to assist me in recovering the additional money The Maid's overcharged me for this cleaning. I will never use this service ever again and suggest you don't either.

They're good. We've had a good experience with them. They're pretty consistent.

For the price they are only OK. I used this company (a different franchise) when I lived in Brookline. I am still not confident to leave them alone in my home. Too often I have to double check and show where they have missed spots. The whole house is hardwood floors and while they may give the impression they scrub floors on the TV ads, they don't in my house. Mops are the most I have seen. Unfortunately, mops don't always get the job done. We carry cups of coffee from the kitchen up to the bedroom regularly and will sometimes inadvertently leave a trail of drops. Anyway, the maids don't always notice the dried spot against the wood. Also, I have to continually check that the shower stall tile is cleaned properly.

We received a quote from The Maids over the phone based on square footage, number of rooms, and tasks. They came and did an initial cleaning, and now come monthly to clean our floors and bathrooms. They do a very thorough job and are very attentive to our requests. I'm very pleased with the quality of work, and the price. Very professional.

We have two dogs and that is the main reason we have the house cleaned every week. There are only two adults in the house. Originally the Maids came and had no problem with the dogs. Recently, the crew was changed and no one spoke English. I could not leave a note for them to let them know what they had missed the previous week. They started leaving cleaning cloths all over the house and all of a sudden, the dogs were a problem. I am changing services because there is no longer a personal feel or a commitment to their work.

We were impressed with this company overall. They were very good; they were thorough and hard working. The price is reasonable and the staff is professional as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very thorough, and well-equipped with their own supplies, but at these prices I could clean the house myself (it would actually cost less for me to "buy" a vacation day at work). Reasonably professional but nothing to knock your socks off. The bathroom seemed to sparkle a little more than I get it to, but the kitchen and the rest of the house weren't any cleaner I'd typically clean myself if I could find the time. I do like that they have their own system and supplies so you really don't have to do anything. The "B" in professionalism is because some of the answered their cell phones while at my house, which I wouldn't mind for someone I had a regular relationship with but it's not a way to make a good first impression when I'm paying hourly.

We were somewhat satisfied with the quality of work performed but we asked them to clean out the refrigerator, they did so very well but forgot to do the freezer. We also felt that the price was very high for the time they were here. I think next time it might be better if we look around first.

We needed a one-time cleaning of our house before relatives were coming to stay for the holidays. An appointment was easy to make. Crew came on time, worked hard, scrubbed, dusted, etc. House looked great. Housecleaning is not cheap, but The Maids Home Services provided good value. I like that we were able to request environmentally friendly products (easier on our breathing).

The Maids are quick and efficient. They supposedly clean the floors on their hands and knees. I think I could do a better job- but hey, I HATE housecleaning. According to their rules they cannot touch body fluids from pets or people. My cat occasionally throws up and they clean around it. Also, I like the hardwood floors to be cleaned with vinegar and water but I have to provide the solution.

It is lovely coming home to a well scrubbed house. A company we used to use elsewhere would only clean around any clutter. They will pick it up, put it in one place, make it look more organized. And I love having the beds made for me! Very fast; they work in teams of 4 or 5 and can do an entire house in under an hour. They call the day before every cleaning to confirm what time they will be there the next day, which is nice for planning purposes.

The work was performed well by three maids, one of them being the supervisor. The house was much cleaner than when it was done by another company on category A of Angie's List.

I find their ability to get right down to work as soon as they get in the house impressive. They waste no time in getting down to work, and they are always friendly and efficient.

THE MAIDS ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND CLEAN VERY THOROUGHLY AND VERY QUICKLY. WE'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW AND HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED YET. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WOULD BE THAT SOME MINOR DETAILS ARE LEFT UNDONE - MILDEW AROUND FAUCETS IS LEFT UNTOUCHED - BUT ONLY VERY MINOR DETAIL THINGS. OTHERWISE IT'S ALWAYS A JOB WELL DONE.
