House & Grounds is a Prime Contractor. They have a set of subcontractors that they hire for all of the work that they do. These include demolition, carpentry, sheet rock and plastering, plumbing, electrical, and painting. The contractors do a lot of work for H & G and they all know each other and work well with each other. If the need arose, we, the subcontractors, and H & G, would coordinate making decisions or solving problems that would arise. Towards the end of the project there was a small "punch list" of things that we wanted done differently they were promptly taken care of. H & G helped us with selection of vendors for cabinets, counter tops, flooring, etc. Once we had selected these various item, they scheduled the work and did all of the coordination between the sub-contractors. A schedule was prepared at the beginning which all of the subcontractors agreed with. Everyone, subcontractors and vendors, adhered to the schedule. H & G was on site everyday.
