Our 50+ year old boiler developed a gas leak and before any heating company would replace it, we had to have the asbestos removed. On Wednesday afternoon Joe Duffey arrived within an hour of being called. We discussed the job, and the fact that the outside temperature was getting cold. The next morning I had a proposal and on Friday I told Joe he had the job. He had to juggle his crew's schedule around to accommodate us, but said we'd have a crew at the house on Monday morning. We got a phone call at 7:30 Monday morning saying they were on the way (nice touch.) They immediately got to work and five hours later they were done. The inspector arrived before they were finished and had to come back, but once he did he declared everything clean. The guys took down all the protection and sweep up after themselves leaving the basement cleaner than it was before they started! Great crew, great company - responsive, great communication, and a fair price.

Excellent communication quote thru cleanup. Joe and team provided a high level quote over the phone based on the square footage information. The final quote after the site visit was on the upper end of the original range provided, but expectations were clearly set. The crews arrived on the appointed date and completed the work within the range of days provided. Permits and inspection reports were provided in a timely fashion.

Joe came to the house and quoted the work.  Throughout the process, Joe was patient in explaining the work and answering questions.  He also clearly explained what work we needed to do to prepare the space for the ESI crew.  The crew was professional and even completed the work ahead of schedule.  We would absolutely hire ESI again – they did great work and made an otherwise intimidating process very easy.

Joe Duffey was a pleasure to work with. He responded immediately in scheduling a consultation for the removal of an asbestos tile flooring in a  very large family room. He worked his schedule around our seeking out a floor company for floor replacement. The workmen arrived promptly on the scheduled day with Joe and they were pleasant, polite  and efficient during the floor removal process. They left the room very neat. Joe took care of all the town requirements for the asbestos removal. I didn't have to do a thing. Joe made a pre-work call the day before and  called us that evening after the floor removal to make sure the work was satisfactory and that we were pleased. 
Working with Joe Duffy at Environmental Solutions was a great experience on a house project that I had been dreading. I would recommend this company for very good work and pleasant people. You will not be disappointed.

We were in the middle of a renovation and our contractor realized that he had to move a pipe which had asbestos encapsulating agents on it.  Our reno. was at a standstill until the asbestos could be removed and disposed.  The problem pipe ran heat up to our daughter's room, so it was an immediate need.  We called up Joe and he was at out house within one hour going over the options, price and process.  He helped us schedule the project right away and walked us through how to prepare.
His team came in exactly when they said they were going to, completed the job on time and cleaned up the area amazingly.  They made the area look like it was freshly painted and redone.

On my initial call to Environmental Solutions, Joe Duffey answered the phone himself and clearly explained to me the process, including permits and waiting times, and what the costs would be.  Based on my description of the extent of work required, Joe was able to quote me a price without coming on-site.  He then emailed me a proposal to review, sign, and return.  The proposal was clear and detailed, and included concise instructions on what we needed to do to prepare the work area.
Joe took care of all of the paperwork, permits, and notifications.  He was flexible with scheduling to accommodate our schedule, and returned my calls promptly when I had questions before the job.  Joe and his crew arrived on time (even a few minutes early) and got right to work.  They completely sealed off the area where the work was done, and I felt very safe.  The work took about 3 hours, and they had pre-arranged a licensed inspector to be available so there was no downtime.  When they left, the area was as clean or cleaner than when they arrived.
A week or so later Joe emailed me the documentation and his invoice, and all was in order and just as quoted.

They came by with an estimate which included getting the permits from the city and proper removal of the asbestos. They began the work promptly after having to wait for other workmen I had working on my house, (in other words, they were flexible about the date.) Communication via e-mail and phone was courteous and prompt. Questions I had were always answered. 
After a final look-over, the work was begun and completed in a day. Joe Duffy came by to check the work's completion. I was quite 
satisfied with the work and the professionalism of Joe Duffy and his crew.

Mr. Duffy returned our call immediately and scheduled a date to come out and provide an estimate.  He described the entire process and explained that they would be responsible for the post-removal inspection.  His estimate was lower than the other estimate we received, and we hired him for the job.  He arrived on time, worked efficiently and had completed the job a couple of hours earlier than anticipated.  Mr. Duffy left the basement in pristine condition and, other than the missing asbestos tiles, we would never have known they were there.  Overall...dependable, efficient and super-clean.  We would recommend this company to family and friends.

When I first called, Mr. Duffy answered the phone (ie, did not have to play telephone tag).  We arranged for him to see the job in a couple of days. He e-mailed me a quote later in the day of his visit.
He was very thorough in explaining what had to be done.
After coordinating with my flooring guy, I scheduled the removal with Mr. Duffy.  
The removal was accomplished as scheduled and his crew did an outstanding job in my opinion.
Mr. Duffy then called me after the removal was completed to make sure that I was satisfied with everything, which, of course, I was.
I would certainly use Environmental Solutions again if the need arises!

The contact person was very professional. He came out and took a look at what was needed. They gave the price, they came, they did their work and everything was neatly done. He came back and reinspected the work to make sure it complied and signed all the paper work for the hazard of materials. We were very happy with him. We would certainly hire them back again. We certainly highly recommended him to other people.

They were very responsive, very friendly, and very professional. They were absolutely punctual too. Their work seemed very accurate to me. Everything was fine. There was nothing that I disliked about them, and I have no complaints. I would highly recommend them.

They were really great. They were incredibly thorough. We were not there when they did the work. They would come in and lock the door behind them. They showed up when they said that they would be there and left when they said they would. They finished everything and it was perfectly clean when they left. They did a wonderful job. They were straight up with us the whole time.
