Went well. The new shed looked very nice but we've since moved to a different house. I'm sure the current owner is enjoying the shed.
Description of Work: Took down storm-damaged backyard shed and rebuilt it from the ground up on the existing concrete pad.

First contact Jan 2013, 1st contract drawn Feb 2013, company said they welcomed additional work added as the work continued, which we agreed upon. Initially a good rapport between company and customer existed. Ken Gaumond Remodling last worked and collected payments June 2013, never came back to finish work until late in the month of Jan 2014. Did not call with updates or explainations for delay in finishing the work. Ken Gaumond did not return calls during this absence either, and had started not returning calls May/June 2013. Ken came with his work partner/or employee the day before Thanksgiving to our house, unfinished work was discussed, his partner who no longer works with or for him as of late 2013, returned this phonecall to arrange this meeting. (All work contracts were with Ken Gaumond/New Surroundings Remodeling.) Finally returned late Jan 2014 to discuss work. Ken Gaumond also left equipment at our house during this time (ladder, air nailer, scaffolding). Ken Gaumond provided a letter 1/20/2014 to this customer to cease work/terminate contracted work Jan 2014, without finishing the contracted work. During the working relationship Feb - June 28, 2013, did not call to state when the company would arrive to work, often did not show up when verbally was stated. Present for work at the house 3-4 hours at a time, not a full work day, therefore the work took longer than if full work days were put in (even if 45 min. travel time each way was considered included in their work day.) Ken Gaumond blamed the customer in his termination letter, for the relationship rapport of customer being unsatisfied with the remarkable delay in return of Ken Gaumond to finish the work. Ken Gaumond gave no apology for the remarkable delay which was an inconvenience to the customer. And Ken Gaumond did not finish contracted work.
