No problem once we were able to make contact. Had a little difficulty contacting for the first week due to a death in Jeff's family.

I had a positive experience. He is good, very conscientious and did a very high quality work, He stands behind his work and if anything goes wrong, shortly thereafter, he will take care of it. I would use them again in the future.

Jeff provided a verbal quote for the job based on a highly accurate description of the work and agreed to start based on the schedule we arranged. This is where the trouble started. We phoned 48 hours before the agreed to job date to confirm a start time. It took two days just for Jeff to call us back. His website indicates "all phone calls answered live". Untrue.

Once we were able to track him down ; he remained uncommitted to an actual start time.

During the discussion ; he actually sounded intoxicated. 

 
Jeff didn't show up but he sent a nice, courteous and proficient journeymen plumber. Removal work was completed without incident. 

 
Reinstall work commenced two days post, was completed by the same journeymen, in what I thought was a rushed time frame. Due to the fixtures and other tile work drying it was not practical to test all of the installed work. That was to come 24 hours later. 
After all of the fixtures and related work dried : our tub wouldn't drain and the sink they attached was leaking. Worse yet ; backups from the plumbing job were occurring and overflowing in other areas of the house. 
We phoned immediately to discuss remediation ; this time it only took hours to track Jeff down (as opposed to days). 
After his yelling at, accosting my wife and accusing her of damaging the job that his apprentice completed - he agreed to send the same journeymen on site to repair. 
After he arrived on site I shared with him what I thought the issue was (an over-tight drain bobber and a mis fitted joint) , after a few minutes of repair the work was properly completed.
 
Jeff Bernard does not stand behind his work.
Jeff Bernard is difficult to schedule and is mean to women.

If you do not mind poor communication from a vendor or have a wife that enjoys getting yelled at by tradesman - hire Jeff. If you do not. Stick to someone else on Angies List.
