Dealing with the Home Depot was the worst home improvement experience we've ever had. I wish we had never started with them. The work took close to a year and we were left without a functioning kitchen for months. The constant delays and errors made left us dining and making meals in our living room with a toaster oven. We have three small children whose safety was compromised. I was on the phone daily with trying to move work forward because there was a complete lack of leadership or follow through. We were offered an insulting discount at the end, and on the day I called to pay, my account was sent to a collections agency. There was so much turn around at this store, nobody was familiar with my case and I continually had to relive this nightmare to have my story heard. Stay away from Home Depot.
