Beautiful sunroom addition, worth the wait. Process was simple. Met with one of their designers, they helped us finalize our vision. They are great at updating you on the process of your sunroom construction and anything else that comes up. Their sunrooms are actual four season sunrooms, unlike other companies. It's not aluminum and cheap, it's custom made to fit our home, and has all the features we want. Took a bit longer than we expected, but it makes sense since they are booked months in advance. The result is worth the wait. They installed it in a day! We couldn't be any happier, highly recommend Brady to anyone looking to add a sunroom to their home!

An internet search for a sunroom found BradyBuilt. After an email exchange, we were invited up to the factory to see how the rooms are built. We were very impressed with the process, and also with our salesman who discussed our project in detail with zero pressure. After contracting to buy a sunroom, the BradyBuilt employees we dealt with at the company were all professional and totally on the ball. The delivery of the room, two weeks ago, went flawlessly and we love the beautiful new space in our home. Having said that, anyone buying should be aware that a large part of the process is having a local contractor that can follow the BradyBuilt plans for the connection to an existing home. Ours had no trouble with the plans and, when the room arrived, it literally took just a couple of hours to attach it to the house!

FIVE-STAR RATING:
It?s a pleasure to offer this top rating for our experience working
with Brady Built Sunrooms of Auburn, Massachusetts in spring/summer 2014.
ROOM STYLE:
Our new peaked sunroom dormers out from a den-like room on the top floor
of our home ? very dramatic.
WE DID OUR HOMEWORK:
We thoroughly investigated the leading sunroom companies in our
area, across the full range of price points.
PRICE (NO MIDDLE MEN):
One of the things that distinguished Brady Built from its
competitors is that it was able to design, build, deliver and install a
high-end room for us at a mid-range price point. This is possible because with
Brady Built you work directly with the factory.
THE FACTORY:
Before we bought the room, we were given a tour of the factory. They
explained every step of the design and construction process. We saw more than a
dozen rooms in various styles and in various stages of construction. We visited
our own room a few times to watch it evolve. And we visited the factory to
approve the room when it was ready to be delivered.
CONTRACT TERMS:
Brady has a boilerplate contract. We worked together making a few tweaks
to address our concerns.
DESIGN:
The Brady folks took fine-point measurements and presented a detailed design.
The engineering drawings showed several different views and listed the key
specifics, identifying the materials that would be used.
CURVED WOOD BEAM FRAMEWORK:
This is where Brady really stands out from the
competition. The most expensive competitors also offered beautiful wood beams,
but these companies would have had to go to outside contractors at considerable
additional cost to get us the curved beams we wanted.
CONSTRUCTION:
Brady was the only company that builds and thoroughly water tests their rooms
at their factory. Each of the other companies wanted to build our room on site,
estimating that the property would be disturbed for about two to three weeks.
We didn?t want the construction mess, including scaffolding, the danger of
workers falling or dropping heavy glass, and the security problems from having
the house somewhat ?open" until the room was sealed up.
INSTALLATION:
When the room was ready to be delivered and installed, we went to the factory
to make sure everything was in order. A few days later, the room was brought to
our home on a flat-bed truck, craned over the house, lowered into position and
secured to our home. My wife and I commented that we should have sold tickets ?
it was so fascinating to watch this process. The install took about a day and a
half.
SERVICE:
As with any large custom contracting project there were a few ?punch-list?
items. Brady handled them promptly and professionally without charge and did
not request the final payment until we were completely satisfied.
WATER TIGHT:
We?re writing this after the record snowstorms of February, 2015. The
Brady room is completely dry. This is significant because we had lots of water
problems with the original sunroom that was built when the house was first
constructed in the late 1980s. It?s also significant because we?re dealing with
serious leaks in other parts of our home.
ALL SEASONS ROOM:
Our sunroom is heated and air conditioned ? we use it year round.
It was installed during a hot spell last summer. And we?re experiencing
single-digit temperatures now (February 2015) with below zero wind chills
without problems.
ADDED VALUE TO OUR HOME:
Our friends, family and business colleagues who have seen
the room love it ? several of them said the room adds a ?wow factor? to our
home. We?re certain that we added more value to our home than the cost of the
project.
OUR RECOMMENDATION TO OTHERS CONSIDERING BRADY:
These are great folks who do great work. They deserve your consideration

The sunroom went very well, however the installation did not run as smoothly. The company itself is excellent.  Reasonably priced.

They were very good. The room is absolutely beautiful. The salesman was very good and not pushy. The price is more than we expected especially for the price. The room itself is absolutely stunning. They are really nice people with a beautiful product. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job. It is a room that is build in a factory than they bring it here and lift it over the house and put it in place. I'm not sure that I would give them an "A" on cost, but I don't have anything to compare them to but they were up front from the beginning. As far as the quality and working with them it was outstanding. They were very punctual and the guys who did the work were highly professional and very helpful. One thing that wasn't even part of the project, I had an old piano I wanted to get rid of and they picked it up and threw it in the dumpster for me as they removed the demolished old porch. There was no need to do that, it wasn't even part of the contract they just did it to be helpful.

The entire process, beginning with our meeting with a salesperson, was as efficient and reassuring as possible. Their team helped us create a design that harmonizes beautifully with the rest of our home, and built the new structure in their factory exactly as scheduled. All of the work (except interior knee wall finish) at our house was completed within two days. The first day, their building team neatly removed the old sun-room, leaving its slate floor intact. On the second day, the new sun-room was lowered in place with a crane and carefully attached to our house.

The sunroom is built on their site and delivered. I am thrilled with the construction and the product. This work required allot of communication between us and the company, but we had a problem having them call us back. The people we talked to on the phone were very polite but they just unresponsive. I was able to get a call back from the owner's wife who was very cordial, very responsive, made sure our issues were addressed. I would consider using them again but I would have to have some guarantees up front.

The experience was horrible. The sales people will tell you anything to make a sale and then the changes start to happen. They put pressure on their "approved" contractors to bid low to seal the deal, and then you find out that the cost will be more. The first contractor they sent us took a deposit and disappeared. Brady told us that they would cover the money as long as we continued with the project. They then refused to honor that promise. This is not an honest company and I recommend everyone stay away from them.
Response from Brady Built Sunrooms
"This customer's complaints were resolved, including Brady-Built reimbursing him for the lost deposit (even though we had no legal or moral responsibility to do so). Most of the customer's complaints were with the site work subcontractor who was hired by the homeowner to perform the work. The Brady-Built service manager at the time has been fired."

I called them to get the leak fixed and they gave me an estimate of $1403 to fix it and I accepted it. They have not come out to do the work and they gave me the estimate in June. I have called back several times and they keep telling me that Tom Murphy is the person who is responsible for the work. He will not return any of my calls. I have tried to have other contractors come in to fix the leak but they are not familiar with the style Brady Built uses so they will not fix the problem. Brady Built needs to come fix my leak. Their customer service people are great but they are at the mercy of Tom Murphy.
Response from Brady Built Sunrooms
"The service has been completed. Tom Murphy is no longer employed by Brady Built."
