Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing preventive property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or treat them proactively rather than using “reactive” maintenance methods that are driven by situations and events. Abraham was prompt professional and extremely knowledgeable. Their team that they sent to do the work was the same. But they are very expensive compared with some other estimates and work I have done since they did work on my property. They are very well thought of in the local area because of their expertise.

I’ve been a client for ten years at least and they’ve always been excellent. They‘re  extremely responsive and polite and knowledgeable. They’re prices are on the upper end but you get what you pay for. I am planning on resignng in February with them.

Their prices are substantial but they are fully licensed and insured and know what they're doing.  You get what you pay for.  They prune the trees to save the trees and noone else could have handled this.  They also cleaned up a tree that had fallen on our property on Cape Cod.  Their responsiveness and expertise are both excellent as we had a 20 foot hedge that they were able to save that a drunk driver had hit. They have experienced, licensed arborists who are very responsive when you need them.

The service was exactly as advertised. One tree was taken down in pieces and left in the woods as requested. The second tree was also taken down in pieces which was very close to power lines and the pieces were removes as requested. They cleaned the property and chipped all branches. A job well done. Fantastic.

They were excellent!  However, when they first came to look at the tree, I asked if we should wait til the spring to see which branches were dead by looking at the leaves that come in.  He said no they didn't need to do that and they went ahead with the job right away.  When the spring came around I noticed that there were still several dead branches they didn't remove.  I asked him to come back and finish removing the dead branches and he said he would when he was in the neighborhood next.  Turns out, he hasn't followed up on that promise.  But they did a good job and I was pleased with them.

They were very good and did a professional job.  They did what they said they will do and kept to the price.  I only spoke to one person and I guess he was the foreman but he was very professional and knowledgeable about trees.  I will use them again.

The interaction was ok, not great.  They did a good job with the tree fungus. I asked for an estimate for tree trimming and they never got back with me. They did not seem interested in doing the work. They had poor follow up.

upon completion, branches were still left overcrowding and interferring with the domestic wiring.
The oriental tree was no more than simply 'trimmed', (which I had been doing on my own for several years, thus the need for a complete PRUNE.......NOT a simple 'trim'!
I know the difference between trimming and pruning a tree.

I did have to call the second year to make sure they had not forgotten me, and they said they forgot to spray the larch the preceeding fall (for which they apologized), but the pests never came back after the second year's sprayings.

We had a number of trees pruned and saplings removed. The big job on a sick tree was done well as was an apple tree. We had two large hollies however that were hacked so badly one has just now started to recover while the other is still struggling. The company arborist seems knowledgeable and friendly but the crew that shows up to do the job are clowns.There seemed to be no professional supervision of the work.  For example two paired trees were cut to different heights and circumferences and some trees were topped when it is not recommended. Calls to the company had the arborist come back to inspect the damage and he noted the problems but assured us everything will look fine in the spring - it hasn't. Moreover he marked the stray saplings for removal, that was the fall this is the spring and no one has come to complete the work. The neighborhood kids could have done as good a job with an ax for a lot less money.

We had a big storm a few years ago that took down a lot of branches. Because we were previous customers they gave us great service at taking down branches. They cleaned up well. The man we worked with is very good. We are very satisfied with their services.

THEY WORK ON A PROJECT BASIS, SO DON'T EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO MULTIPLY A RATE BY A NUMBER OF HOURS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND YOUR BILL. THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD PEOPLE AND THEY DO REALLY GOOD WORK.
