NEver returned my calls after leaving with half the money.

Very bad experience. He showed up one day and did part of teh job. Demanded half the money for the project. Never returned calls/emails after that. Its been more than a year. Never bpotehred to comeback to complete teh job. Very unreliable and dishonest. Please do not hire this person.

Mike and Bernadette did a wonderful job in 2 very hot days to replace my crumbling deck stairs. Mike totally cut new stringers from the pressure treated wood, leveled and placed steps, made the railings with balusters.Mike also put in plates under existing The area was cleaned and old wood taken away.

Mike and Bernadette came in the first day and listened to what I was interested in doing to my bathroom. I had to do the remodeling because I had water leaking from the old surround into old original tub. Among 3 different bidders of this project I chose them because they were local and I was pleased with their rapport and estimate. They began the project a week before it was finished and started out on a negative note. The tub that had been ordered (almond color tub and surround) came in cracked. So the and quot;adventureand quot; began to find a replacement. They diligently called around to find an acceptable replacement. Fortunately they found a tub and surround in Quincy(a long drive from my house). Once the tub was in they tried to get the one piece surround in. That's where the project started to take an unfortunate turn. The surround would not fit. I have a smaller door into bathroom and little room to maneuver the surround, so that was scraped. Now they tried to find another surround to put into the bathroom. Knowing now, they found a 3 piece unit to be the surround. In between all of this, Mike found in the drain pipe, over flow valve, that I had a P trap leak. So a plumber was called in to fix this problem(another and quot;adventureand quot; to find quickly, needless to say). They installed before the weekend and were coming back on Mon. Over the weekend I realized that I was not happy with the surround. What bothered me was color did not match the tub, quality was not what I had expected and they would have to use caulking to seal edges and I wanted to get totally away from the possibility of mold. So I emailed Mike, very upset,( I should have said something right away) that I didn't like what was in my bathroom. Mike emailed back to me not to worry he would and quot;make it rightand quot;. Over the weekend my partner and I went to Lowe's and found another tub and surround we hoped would fit into the bathroom. I changed my mind from almond/ biscuit color (special order 6-8 weeks delivery) to white. So Mon. morning when Mike and Bernadette came in we discussed the changes. We agreed to purchase the new tub and surround because the other tub was cut to fit the opening. Mike and Bernadette worked tirelessly to accommodate my new changes. The new tub and surround looks wonderful and I'm so pleased. As per the contract, Mike prepared the opening for the exhaust fan to be finished by an electrician, installed the sink faucets, grab bar and shower rod. Bernadette finished putting the tiles (which some, needed to be cleaned) back up and grouted. Let me also say Bernadette compliments Mike's skills as a true and quot;handymanand quot;. Before they left the job site, it was cleaned and debris taken away. Of course after having this work done now, I want to repaint the bathroom. With all said and done I learned a lot from this experience, trust in your feelings, voice your concerns and if you have chosen correctly, the final product will be what you had envisioned!

All of the work came out beautiful! Mike and Bernadette are extremely nice people and do great work. Their prices are very reasonable and they are punctual, friendly, and meticulous. Mike seems to know how to do everything! I am thrilled that I found Handyman Services by Mike and am currently getting ready to call them with a new list of things I need done. I highly recommend this company.
