Description of Work: I have used G & G Custom Building & Remodeling. They did my two bathroom remodeled and some other little bits and pieces.

Description of Work: I got a quote from G & G Custom Building & Remodeling for rebuilding an unattached garage that had fire damage.

Description of Work: We had G & G repair rotted wood to existing walls in the corner of our building. He had to remove all the clapboards from the building and replace plywood, some studs and insulation. Then arrange for an electrician to remove the electrical panel off the building. Once all this was compelted he arrange to have the clapboards painted to match the existing building color. .

Description of Work: G & G finished ~900 sq ft of an unfinished basement. Dry-lock on the foundation, framing, insulation, baseboard heat, electrical, drywall, plaster, lighting, carpet, doors, drop ceiling, painting, and some custom wood-working for a child's playhouse. I gathered 3 quotes - 1 was high-balled, the other 2 were comparable. G & G was the middle quote. I felt Greg had a better understanding of what I wanted to do, made professional and informed recommendations, and displayed the professionalism I was looking for.

Description of Work: Greg gave us an estimate to repair water damage to the rear of the condo building. After he started the work he found much more damage than previously thought, he contacted a board memebr to show him what he found and it was agreed that he would fix that added damage. He also coordinated services of an electrician so the unit owners were not wihtout power for a significant length of time. The work was completed in a quick and orderly fashiopn. He painted, sealed and caulked all ears. His work is impeccable and complete. He is prompt and courteous. We are asking him for estiamtes on more work here and will be calling him for other jobs. He was a find!

Description of Work: They replaced some facia that had to be replaced as I was having problems with water penetration. They took off some of the shingles and siding and installed a water barrier.

Description of Work: I had a post and beam shed on my property that Greg converted into a 2 stall horse barn. He really listened to what features I wanted in the barn. We worked together on this project and it came out just perfect. Greg was punctual each day (the project took 3 days) and used quality materials. He is extremely professional and aims to please his clients. My barn looks terrific and it is exactly what I had envisioned.

Description of Work: They installed vents under the roof because we were having a problem with moisture in the house.

Description of Work: We used the services of G & G Custom Building and Remodeling a month ago. They had to put the sub-flooring in our kitchen and put the new tile flooring down. They put in new wall paper, new plaster walls in our hallway, new doorways and new rugs. They also did a lot of painting.

Description of Work: I have worked with G&G on various projects around my home. In 1998, they actually framed, sided, roofed, and completed multiple other areas of my new 4K s.f. home in Foxboro, MA. (In 1998, the G&G portion of my new home was about $200K). Back then, the workmanship, professionalism, and attentiveness was refreshing, especially since I was the GC for the whole project. He and his crew were amazing. You should see my house (see photos). It’s rock solid and anyone who visits will see the workmanship is solid. In 2003, I decided to finish my basement. Without hesitation, we called Greg @ G&G. He provided great advice on materials, design, and layout. He did the entire project for us for about $120K. Again, you should see my basement (see photos). It has a kitchen, full bath, Man room with bar, and the best basement ceiling you’ll ever find. In 2004, I wanted to build a cabana for my pool. We thought about buying a cheaper pre-fab shed and convert it to a cabana. After meeting with Greg, we worked out a budget and plan to build a custom one. His ideas and design really make the pool area a great hangout spot and the design really compliments the entire house. He pushed me to have a garage door with opener installed in the front of the cabana instead of manually opening doors. I was hesitant at first, but it’s such a great and functional feature that I’m thankful he suggested it. At present, Greg is installing a new staircase at the side entrance to my house. We wanted it bigger and to utilize ECO-Friendly materials that require zero maintenance. He works with a number of manufactures that provide these materials and has direct access to manufacturer reps that will custom build samples. I know Greg well enough that I appreciate his very strong opinions about certain materials. He won’t use junk. He won’t build anything unless he has personally seen and approved the stuff. These new stairs are such a great addition to the house. Every time Greg and his crew come here, they have been so careful to not be intrusive to the day-to-day happenings of my family. They are the CLEANEST and most organized contractors I have ever seen. When they leave at the end of the day, the job site is spotless. One of the most memorable qualities of G&G building my house in 1998 was how clean the site was at the end of the day. I mean clean. Not a pile of lumber and dust stacked in the corner. When Greg says he’ll be at the site at 7:30 AM, he’s there at 7:29. When he says he will call after dinner, he calls. For those of us who appreciate those little things, you’ll find dealing with Greg very refreshing.
