Cryan Landscape Contracting

It took 10 weeks for them to complete a 7 day job. They would show up on a Friday for a few hours and sometimes Saturday for 2-4 hours and disappear for a week. They tore up a 1/3 of my lawn from the street to the back over 100 feet of turf to use as a road to install a leeching field and septic. After finally completing the job they dropped unscreened loom and poorly hydroseeded over it which as you can see doesn’t grow grass very well. It’s as if they didn’t want to lose money so they underseeded and didn’t send enough workers or spend enough time to correct their mistakes. The rocks can clearly be seen after the hudroseed disappeared and they are totally unresponsive to calls. They’re are areas that are so unlovely we have pools the birds play in when it rains. My beautiful lawn is ruined and now I have to pay more money to fix their poor craftsmanship. Please Avoid at all costs. They are the worst. Who would do a job like this and feel Pride in the company? !!!! Hire at your own risk.

From start to finish both Kevin and Dave were a breath of fresh air to work with. the pricing was competitive and the work was top notch. Through every portion of the project they communicated with me and asked opinions on how i wanted final product etc. I look forward to continue working with them in the future.

I was perfectly satisfied. They were fine. I had no complaints. They were in my driveway for 20 minutes. The company is right across the street from mine. I think they're fine.

The initial contact went well. we set up and appointment, meet with Kevin in early September and received an estimate. Decided to go with Cryan and sent in a deposit. A few weeks to a month passed and my husband contacted them to find out where we were in their schedule. Apparently the employee that received the deposit never told anybody and we slipped through the cracks, we were told that the employee had been let go. Okay, stuff happens but by the time they could fit us on the schedule it was DEC and they were only able to do the basecoat of the asphalt, spread the dirt pile from our addition and install the compacted base for the patio. They said we could live with driveway basecoat over the winter and they would come back in the spring to complete the job. It would give us an opportunity to live with the driveway layout and we could make any adjustments in the spring. Sounded great to us. Spring arrived, I called Kevin and he came right out. We needed stairs for our back entrance and Kevin and I had an extensive conversation on how we needed to first determine the height and layout of the stairs as it would determine grading of the path to the patio and the rest of the landscape. He left saying he would make mock up of the stairs so we could see what would work and then move on from there with the rest of the landscape project. We also discussed a couple of changes to the driveway and finished look. We never heard another word. We were very disappointed at having the project stall out again. Kevin is a nIce guy, his people do decent work but lack customer service resulting in no follow-up or follow through. Would not recommend Cryan landscaping due to a lack of dependability.

Great! Workers were prompt, profession, and quick. And they even did some yard cleanup that we hadn't requested!

They performed perfectly and within estimate. They even accomidsted us when when asked to remove a couple other trees and shrubs im the front yard.

Whatever you need, they are just very good. The price is extremely reasonable. He personally gets involved. He will come by, or one of his representatives will come by - they will tick down a list. They've been very careful to understand exactly what you want. And then within 24 hours you get an e-mail with an estimate. We just didn't like part of some of the estimate and he readily negotiated that over the phone. The work was done very rapidly, like he gave a specific day when he could start. He started on that day and he finished on time. And then he followed up within a week. He actually followed up twice to make sure that we were happy and very persistently pressed: "Is there anything about what I've done that you did not like, and what can I do to make it better?" Honestly there was nothing - I was a little annoyed because I said it was a good job, lets get over with it. He is absolutely fanatical about his reputation and his work. In every way you will be satisfied with him. I wouldn't even think twice to use him again.
