tv repair
+ -1 moreI called Monday and left word on his machine (his place is closed Sunday & Monday) and he called this morning and came out before noon. Before he came out he told me exactly how much the cost would be for the house call and writing up the paper for the insurance company. I asked him how much to cart the old set away and we arranged a price cheaper than the price he charges people to just drop off dead TV's at his shop. He told me he would be here before noon and he showed up at 11:30. Gary Merwin only does TV repairs. He does them for his own customers as well as two appliance stores (one in Gardner and one in Athol) and also works for a shop in Keene three days a week. He is courteous, trustworthy and knows his stuff.
Description of Work: My insurance company needed a "Cause & Origin" report for the claim I put in for lightning damage to my TV. We had had Gary come to the house about 10 years ago to fix this same TV and called him again because we knew he's trustworthy.
