Dana's  men used  3/4 inch pine instead of 1.25 inch( which is the right one) and thus had to put a second piece made of PLYWOOD to bolster it which did not fit well and thus had many gaps for water to come in , used  pine instead of the cedar  as agreed to , used the wrong caulking silicone instead of vinyl which does not hold any paint. He used a semigloss paint to paint the clapboard around the windows when the house was painted a matte finish so one could see the difference. He put the wrong door sill . It had a wrong pitch so that during the rain, the water instead of draining outside  would drain into the house . His men kept saying we have no say on the materials . We use what we are given. Talk to Dana.   He poked holes in many windows sills and sashes to see if they were rotted but he left them open and did not fix them  and thus left a mess. His men spilled paint on the black driveway and did not clean up and threw cigarette butts everywhere. When I emailed to Dana these facts, he became very angry and emailed back and said that I was one of those ignorant homeowners who knows nothing about homes and who believed in every Dick and Harry who tells me otherwise. And that these carpenters are out to get my business. And that he was going to sue me for not continuing to do work with him. He refused to refund any money nor did he wanted to fix the problems. His men pulled out and left in a hurry.   I am one of these homeowners who was taken advantage of.
