Could not have gone better! They were so great to work with. We did new construction and had to move our date twice and they never batted an eye. Moving day was ridiculously hot and no one complained once. They were in great spirits all day. The new house had a tough to navigate staircase and they got it all up there with no damage to either the house or our furniture. They finished earlier than expected and went back one more time and took a huge load of boxes and bins for us - which was above and beyond! Moving websites always say to ask the guys if you should tip them directly or allow the foreman to divvy it up. In unison - they all said to give it to the foreman - that he was a great guy. We did and on the way out - I heard him tell them exactly what we tipped them and and he gave them all an even share. Excellent experience all around!

Jessica and Berto Santos have a well-oiled machine with their moving business, Santo Movers. Jessica runs the office end of the business with friendly, organized efficiency, while Berto is behind the muscle of the business and giving a whole new meaning to organization, spacial relations and directing his crew. On move day, Berto and his crew arrived on time, as anticipated. One of his crew arrived one hour later, and the invoice reflected this. In general, the move went smoothly. The movers were friendly, good-spirited, well-muscled, efficient and worked well together. Of the boxes I have thus unpacked, all items are intact/unmarred. This was the second time in two years that I have used Santos Movers. Despite some minor miscommunication issues, I was again overall very pleased with their service. Thank you, Santos Movers!

Horrible!! I have had the unfortunate experience of moving about 6 times in 5 years. My normal movers were unavailable so I went to Angie's list and found Santos. They promised 4 men for about 4-6 hours. I only had them move 1 bunk bed, 2 full size platform IKEA beds, 3 dressers, 3 small to medium TV stands, a couch , a loveseat and a gym grade treadmill. They were supposed to move a freezer but refused because there was good inside. First off...I had to empty all the dressers. I have never been asked to do this.. But OK its in the contract so we did. They sent only 2 men...2 had car trouble. They found a third man to help halfway through the move. The men were very kind however extremely slow!!! It took 9 hours to move these items. I asked if my rate would be different because they only sent 2 men I was assured it would be less. I realized during the move that they took each piece if furniture apart to move. Even my couch and loveseat!!! Which wasn't delivered in pieces by the furniture company. And they put it together incorrectly. In the end I was charged over 1200 dollars... I have never paid more than 600. And the freezer did not get moved. I complained that this,was over the estimate and I shouldn't have to pay because their employees did not show up for work. I was told " its expensive to move" and I had " many speciality items" . This infuriated me as I am an adult who is well aware of moving costs. And I had one speciality item, the treadmill. I asked to speak to the owner or manager, unfortunately the young girl I spoke with was the owner along with her husband. I received a professionally written email that they would refund $175 with the agreement that I would nor give a bad review. However, I am not one to be bought and I think people should be aware of the service they are getting. I was truly disappointed with my service and their responses. I am a very reasonable person and feel that this company takes their time to move people to get extra payment. I am still amazed at how poor this company was. I would never recommend them.

The Santos crew were awesome. 
They were right on time ... (they were actually a hair early so it worked out better so they could park and get set up).
The guys were friendly, professional and took the utmost care of everything I owned.
I was shocked that not one thing got dented, scratched or broke. Truly amazing with all that they moved and in EXACTLY four hours. Which by the way ... was exactly what Jessica from Santos quoted me based on the inventory list I filled out for them.
Their professionalism completely changed my mine and attitude about moving companies. The others should/could take a lesson from Santos.

Santos Moving helped me as I down-sized from living in a house to an apartment. In spite of the grueling heat and humidity, this crew of five men worked like a well-oiled machine. Led by Berto, the company owner, they performed as seamless as a well-conducted orchestra. Berto seemed to be a bit of a designer trapped in a mover's body as he directed the careful placement of items. Mark, one of the movers, happened to find my son's new iPod which had been lost more than a year ago. While disassembling the recliner sofa, the device had become dislodged, falling to the floor. Mark surely brought a smile of disbelief to my son's face with this discovery! Lest I forget, Jessica Santos coordinated services from the Head Office of Santos Moving. She patiently answered all my questions and sent me many tips on packing (it had been 20 years since my last move). I had the greatest of confidence in their ability to complete the task at hand and alay many of my fears during this stressful life event.
In the end, because my packing had been so well-organized, labeled and marked with color-coded tape (a strip of different colors of duct tape for the room that the container was to go to), they were able to cut the estimated time for the move in half, saving me a good bit of cash!
At my new abode, some of the heavier boxes had been placed on less sturdy ones in my garage. A few collapsed and fell to the ground after the movers left. All in all, however, not even this would deter me from using them again!

From my first contact with Jessica in the office to moving day with Berto and his team, Santos was a first-class professional business to deal with.

Jessica provided details, information, and specifics. She followed up. I didn't have to go looking for information. She provided it in a timely and amicable manner.

Berto and his team arrived on time. They took a look around to see what they were moving and then proceeded to pack my furniture efficiently but carefully. They were cheerful and friendly throughout the move.

They know their job. At one point they discovered a crack in the leg of my (high-end) dining room table. They explained that it had been improperly delivered and glued it in place when they put it back together.

In the new space, my husband and I tried to move a few pieces around after we'd looked at them where they were. Berto's team, Jay and Brock (I think.), wouldn't let us. They moved the pieces for us, still with that same cheerful attitude.

I didn't have Santos do any packing or move any boxes but I would imagine that care in delivery and careful packing are primary for them.

I would hire them again without question. I wish more businesses were as professional and customer-oriented as Santos is!

The two movers arrived promptly and did a fine job of moving the couch. It took an hour in total, but with the company's two-hour minimum, I ended up paying somewhat more than I had hoped to pay originally. But their quote specified this minimum, they were up-front with it from the start, and the office manager, Jessica, was professional and responsive to a T.

The team at Santos Moving were professional, courteous and a joy to work with. They were punctual and moved the furniture gently. They were several pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled. The movers did an excellent job of it.
Jessica in the front office was very helpful. She answered all my questions and kept in contact with me before and during the move.
I was going to rent a truck and get some friends to help me move. I am so very glad that I contacted Santos instead.

We had to move a washer and dryer from Natick to Ashland, and remove the old equipment that was in place. We called several local movers on Saturday September 28, and they were the only company to deign return our call. The woman who we dealt with was friendly, patient, and had answers to all of our questions. She carefully explained their policies, and in fact, sent them via email, along with the quote, that same day. The move was scheduled for between Noon and 1:00PM the following Monday (September 30). She called mid-morning on Monday to let us know that they would be about one hour late. At approximately 1:15PM the movers arrived. They took special care loading the equipment, using cloth protectors and were careful to assure that the equipment was secure on the truck. Upon delivery in Ashland, they quickly removed the installed old machines, and were of great assistance in hooking up the newly arrived machines. The moving men were considerate, friendly and highly professional, and the actual charge was exactly the same as had been quoted.
The next day, the office contacted us in order to determine the level of our satisfaction ... a highly unusual step.
I think that it's fair to say that we've never seen a more professional, customer oriented, company, and we would highly recommend them.

I have used Santo Movers twice as part of a difficult and multi-faceted move. They are extremely professional and accommodating. It was predicted to rain on the first day that we scheduled. They called me to find out if I would like to reschedule so that we would not have to deal with a wet, muddy move. I did reschedule and there was no fee. The movers arrived on time, both times, and are young, fit, enthusiastic guys who work hard until the job is done. They are very upbeat and will happily do whatever the job requires.They did not damage one wall, one floor, or one item of furniture. For example, once I had pads on the bottom of the furniture, I told them that they could slide it, around the room to place it, they would not do it, but insisted on picking it up so it would not damage the floor in the least little bit. They took their shoes off to move over my newly installed rugs. They will disassemble anything - I had them take apart a very difficult and heavy stepper. They had the tools, did it, wrapped it up to protect the parts and offered to reassemble it.Before I committed to am appointment, Santos Movers had me fill out an inventory form that enabled them to give me quote. Their quote was very accurate. These guys are professional "gems" in an industry that in my experience, has a lot of sleez-y characters and "bait and switch" pricing schemes.

Disappointing. Driver ($40.00 per hour) Laborers 2 @ $30.00 per hour arrived promptly at the agreed to starting time. After 'starting the clock' the trio worked without any sense of urgency, prodded in a deliberately slow fashion, excessively consumed fee-based packing materials and spent more time on smoke breaks/ rest periods than doing actual work. Refused to transport BBQ grill (would not separate stand from base). Delivered LCD television to new location broken (didn't tell us, we found out days later -- snapped in half) and refused to carry larger chest of drawers up a single flight of stairs even though it was dimensionally feasible -- they were looking for incentive compensation to make this happen.
