I called for an esimate, he came and did the estimate. Then did the fence

I was perfectly happy with the service they provided. I'm not sure if I would use them again, just because my neighbor is in the fence business.

Two years after the fence was installed, one rail began to develop large (12-18") shelf fungus.  I called Reliable and was told they had never heard of this.  Those large mushrooms fell off and left a hole.  No big deal.  However, this year, four rails have totally rotted out and broken.  Perhaps another twenty rails are covered with fungus. 

I called the salesman back.  He wanted to charge me $500 to replace four rails but suggested I wait a while til more rails fail to make it more cost efficient.  I called the owner, Ray Pelletier.  He told me that he cannot vouch for his materials and would not do anything to stand by his product except to charge me to replace rails.  I offered to replace rails myself if he would sell them to me at cost.  He declined my offer, telling me "I am in business to make money.  My suppliers and workmen don't volunteer to work for free."  He went on to say he had sold me the "cheapest fence available", a locust post and hardwood rail fence.  This was certainly never portrayed to me when I agreed to a $7100 fence and was told it would last 10 years.

Mr. Pelletier sells an inferior product that does not stand the test of time, in my opinion.

Excellent experience. Reliable Fence Company came out to provide an estimate within 1 week of my call. They provided me with a written estimate of what the job would cost and included several alternatives.  The gentleman that came out to provide the estimate was incredibly clear with what the company would do and how long it would take, and the areas in which they might run into trouble or the job might cost extra money. They arrived on time and finished the job (expertly) on less time than they had estimated. 

The main person who was in charge was very nice and professional. They came out quickly and got the job done fast. I got quotes from 3 other companies and their quote was much better. I was very happy with their service.

We found out about them through a discount mailing which was timed well with our fence falling over. The experience was positive. Only downside is that they were extremely busy due to the discount, so there was a month lead time before they could do the work.

While we only had to get a few replacement pickets, we were very impressed with the service and products. When we decide to replace our fence, we will definitely go to Reliable.
